    The hotel is an unassuming affordable hotel with old Hawaiian vibes off the main drag. The bar is cute and the staff is amazing. The hotel is old and could use some repair but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

    Absolutely loved my stay here and want to come back! Best service from Mason, Dakota, Tobi & Zach as bartenders. Easy check in/out. Loved the vibes and atmosphere of this hotel. Very welcoming! And delicious coffee!

    I came to White Sands solo and for my first trip to Hawaii and I will definitely be returning! The hotel rooms were so clean and comfortable, location was really good and the pool was perfect. All the staff were so friendly - which is always really appreciated especially when solo. Special thanks to RJ, Zac and Megan for making me well so welcome!!     Welcome Party at the Green Lady Cocktail Room

    We booked the Green Lady Cocktail Room for our wedding welcome party, and Justin Whiting and the rest of the team at the White Sands absolutely rocked it! They have a gorgeous space with fun decor, a beautiful bar, and a spacious patio area for guests to mingle. We had about 70 people attend, and the space fit everyone comfortably. The location was perfect for all our guests as most were staying in the Waikiki area. Communication leading up to our welcome party with Justin was great and easy. On the day of our party, O'ahu experienced a really bad storm and the hotel ended up losing power, but Justin kept us well informed throughout the day and we were lucky enough to get power back just in time to prep for our party. Throughout the event the bar staff was attentive and kind, and our guests loved the space and the food. All in all, I feel so lucky that we found this speakeasy because everything turned out absolutely perfect despite the bad weather! Huge thanks to Justin, Haley, Kristiana, and Ezana for their hard work and attention. We'd book this place in a heartbeat, and can't wait to come back for a drink on our next trip!     The White Sands is a lovely option in Waikiki

    My wife and I loved White Sands! The pool area, bar and overall hotel space was adorable. We were close to everything and enjoyed a smaller setting with less people. White Sands is a younger looking crowd of guests, and proved to be a more affordable option compared to other hotels in the area. Don’t let the few blocks between the beach and the hotel keep you from booking the White Sands. We stayed in the King suite facing the street and were initially not stoked about the view, but we had the sky and palm tree view which we ended up enjoying a lot.
