    The hotel itself is not bad, with internal courtyard. The rooms are clean and the beds fresh. The only thing I didn’t like about the rooms is the AC. It smelled really bad. The pool is more like a big bath tub…, but it’s nice if you want to chill. The breakfast is rather poor.

    This place cancelled my reservation because they stated they attempted to charge me a deposit before my arrival. They claimed when the card declined they tried to reach me (before my trip) and blamed it on AAA. I was stranded at midnight, in a sketchy area because they sold my room. I had to walk 15 minutes away and stay at a more expensive hotel.1. I called corporate and they never reached out to me. 2. They placed the blame on me and AAA. 3. When I arrived there was a huge coffee stain in the lobby and police were there. Never again. Please don't book here if you can avoid it. I booked this place because all of the positive feedback. I will never again risk my safety for discount. However, when you guarantee a reservation the card is checked for validity and since it failed validity; the hotel reached out to all numbers it had on file before cancelling the reservation. I am truly sorry that we are not obligated to hold your reservation without a valid form of payment. I understand that your upset and wish take up the homelessness in Houston; I do to every day. Our police officers do a great job to protect our citizens and our incoming guests. If you did not have a vehicle, I would have recommended you take an Uber or Lyft or even a Taxi; before having a single lady walking alone.     Great location, easy on/off of Highways 6 & 10. Clean and modern, good breakfast. Indoor pool and fitness room. Gated parking lot. Great value!

    This hotel is in a great area of Houston. We felt safe here. The free breakfast was great! It includes eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, juice, yogurt, bananas, apples, muffins, bagels, toast & make your own waffles. 2 areas for coffee. There are two elevators. Our room was nice with 2 queen beds. The ac could have been a little cooler-but overall we enjoyed our stay. Great price for this location.

    Surprise pet fee, but clean, safe, & quiet

    The best thing about this hotel was how quiet it was; that's number one for a good night of sleep. I didn't hear a peep out of anyone from my room. The worst thing was the $50 pet fee for one small dog under 20lbs, which almost doubled the price of the room. The location was fine, easy to get to, the fruit at breakfast was a little overripe, but overall things were clean, the workers were friendly, the place felt safe, and the water for my morning shower was hot! I spent more than I wanted, but it was a good experience otherwise.
