  Due to issues out of our control we missed our connection flight in Houston and United Airlines booked us here for the night with meal vouchers for $15 each lol. This is basically a hood and feels unsafe to walk to the recommended restaurants. The sidewalk lines a highway on one side and a creek full of litter on the other side. People asking for money near the restaurant. Terrible food and service at the restaurant (but that’s for another review). Our view from the room was the highway and a dumpster being enjoyed by two raccoons. Breakfast at the hotel included the worse than usual items with some hilarious touches. Watered down oatmeal. Raw hash browns (nothing even remotely cooked about them). Rubbery eggs. You get the picture. The crowed jewel of my review was the shower I was unable to take. I got in the tub, turned on the water, and it was dripping rather than flowing. I pulled out the shower gadget and nothing happened. There was not enough pressure to use the shower and even filling the tub would have taken forever. Oh, and there was no hot water. I took a bird bath and dried off using the paper thin towels. Just want to thank United Airlines for this delightful end to a nightmarish trip….assuming our flight isn’t postponed or cancelled again. If you are looking for a hotel close to the airport, keep looking.   Semen and feces stains everywhere (see pics for yourself). Our family booked three rooms here thru Expedia, which rates this as an 8-star. In addition to the disgusting condition, which the Houston Board of Health is going to get a full report on, the room had no coffee maker (not that I'd have used it), hair dryer, shampoo or bed comforter. Showed the front desk manager the bodily fluid stains and he was speechless, but said, "complain to Expedia". Called Expedia for a refund and they said, "manager doesn't want to issue one." No sh**. Called Choice Hotels Customer Relations call centre in Philippines three times. First time, agent didn't even take my details down, said they'd call me and without notice, transferred me to a holiday sales guy back in the U-S. Second call, the girl says first agent's case# doesnt exist and that she'll send me a check if I don't use Zelle. She then hangs up. Third agent named Oli says no one can issue a refund except hotel manager and refused to let me speak to a manager. Last resort was to fill out the Choice Hotels online form and you guessed it - hit submit and it won't send. I'm posting a pic of that too. Bad neighbourhood, gang activity in hotel parking lot.   This is a horrible hotel and I won’t be back! I don’t recommend this hotel at ALL!   Hotel did not have a room available upon arrival. Told us to contact booking.com for a refund. Booking contacted the hotel, and the hotel said we had a non show and that they had a room available. Hotel never refunded us and after multiple calls they said we never told you that room was not available and no refund will be made. Unprofessional attitude, lies and untrustworthy

  Manager Rasul is the very best and so helpful wonderful place to stay will come back anytime in the near future. I am grateful for all the help that was given to me while I was here doing my displacement. Very good place and any one should come here.
