    Pathetic Insult to the Brand

    This hotel is an embarrassment to the brand. I started staying here last of January. The two lobby elevators have been down a total of 7.5 weeks during my stay. Mar 20th yesterday they repaired the one elevator again. It was down again last night. It barely operated 13 hrs. The repair before 4.5 weeks ago only lasted 2 hrs. Sometimes the maintenance elevator at the back of the hotel next to housekeeping goes down too. Then the guest have to climb the stairs. No offer from management to relocate you to a functioning hotel. The place is truly pathetic.

    Great location for the west side of an ever-growing Houston. I think it was weird to advertise a Happy Hour in the lobby, then send me to the bar where I end up paying $2.50 for a can of coke. I thought the hotel was hosting a Happy Hour. Loved a Cheddars restaurant across parking lot & proximity to Beltway. The bathtub was a little short, so we kept getting water on floor when we got in & out. I also thought the hot water could have been hotter. Staff was very pleasant & we loved the cookies, but had to ask for them. We got the king suite - worth the upgrade.

    Mariah at the bar is great. Good vibes good music. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Rooms are great as well.

    Great experience, location, service, food, drinks, and stay! Each stay at the double tree, I feel welcomed with the fresh warm cookie and amazing clean room that makes me not want to go back home!Thank you Mariah and the rest of the Double Tree team for my incredible stay and experience!

    Mike at the front desk provided my entire family excellent customer service. We had several rooms booked and needed to check in early to get dressed for a graduation. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs!!
