120 non-smoking rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     No AC and Staff made us sleep in car

    Absolute Nightmare - Do Not Stay Here!1 Star for this place is being generousWe checked into this hotel at 11 PM, and by midnight, the AC was blowing hot air. The room temperature skyrocketed to a suffocating 86°F. When we called the front desk, we were told no other rooms were available. By 3 AM, the heat was so unbearable and unsafe for our child that we called again just begging for a fan.A front desk staff member actually came to the room, looked at the thermostat, and verified how hot it was. She then admitted they did have an empty room next door from a no-show guest. However, after making us wait 15 minutes, she refused to move us solely because we booked through a third party (Hotels.com).Left with no air circulation and fearing a heat stroke for our child, we were forced to pack our bags in the middle of the night and sleep in our car. When Hotels.com tried to call the hotel to resolve it, the staff put the agent on hold indefinitely.To make matters worse, management only offered a insulting 50% discount for making a family sleep in their vehicle. This place has zero regard for basic hospitality, customer service, or safety. Avoid at all costs!

    I was unimpressed with my stay at this hotel this time around I had stayed here several years ago and really enjoyed it. However, the maintenance of the hotel has totally deteriorated. The front door to the hotel has been broken and not functioning for several weeks now. The TV in my room was not working properly. I had to call maintenance and had to do it twice before he showed up. I never worked right. (did not use it). The pillows in the room had a real bad body odor that was hard to ignore. They looked clean but smelly. In the morning, I went to use the iron and again, it was not working and to make matters worse they could not bring a different one to the room because, according to front desk staff: "housekeeping was not in". On the way back to the room from picking up the iron, my room door would not open because the battery in the door had died. I had to wait outside of my room until the call someone to come and work at opening the door. Needless to say, i was late for my business meeting.The staff was friendly, however, the hotel, in my opinion needs lots of attention and maintenance and attention. I am a Diamond customer and will not be using this facility again unless things get better.

    I’m leaving this as a public service to anyone who may be considering this property. This hotel worked directly with a third party booking agency to scam my 90 year old mother out of $2,500. My mom, who will literally be in the hospital for cancer surgery during her “stay” at this establishment got duped when she called the first Google result when she did a search for this hotel. The person she spoke with said he was at the hotel and made promises about her reservation being cancellable within 48 hours of booking when it was a nonrefundable reservation. Neither turned out to be true. My mom only learned she wasn’t dealing with Hampton when the charge came through from a company she had never heard of. Ordinarily I would be upset with the booking agency, but when we called both the agency and the hotel, both told us they were working with each other on the issue and there was nothing either could do. Policy, don’t you know. In other words, both parties are involved and cooperating to scam my sweet mother. I’m furious at what is clearly elder abuse and have some time on my hands stuck in Houston while my mom is being treated, so I’m wondering what it would look like to have a TV crew show up with us to check into my mom’s paid for rooms on her behalf. An interview from her hospital bed might be fun too. The optics would be absolutely priceless. Bottom line, don’t ever click on the top travel search result for a hotel to make a reservation. The first few results will be third party agencies and not the hotel. Go directly to the actual company where you will have protection. In this case, the hotel franchisee was totally in on the scam the third party was playing and told us the third party had their permission to identify themselves as the hotel during the reservations process.

    Shuttle service not provided/ Police called for hotel filling lot with stadium vehicles.

    We booked hotel to be near MD Anderson cancer center for treatment. Hotel was supposed to have shuttle to medical center so we did not rent a car. They stopped shuttle halfway thru our stay. No explanation and no compensation. When we checked out on time we could not get a printed receipt. We would have noticed that we were charged an extra day that we did not book. Also to our surprise they charged us for parking when we DID NOT have a vehicle. There is no help from customer service at all. They kept insisting we booked another day. Obviously an error on their part . Also the hotel is near the stadium. The hotel parked their lot with cars from the football stadium. Not hotel guests. The guests that had paid for parking had no where to park. The staff told them to park in fire zones and across the street in a fast food restaurant. Hotel guests were so mad they called the police.

    Not up to Hampton standards! This location is more like a Super 8. We had an accessible room and the floor was so uneven when you walk in the room I about fell twice with my walker. The bathroom floor floods when taking a shower. Hard bed. Very disappointing as I always can count on a great bed. I don’t think they are up to their name.
