Clerk great but property dirty and in poor repair.

Clerk was great. But property otherwise in poor condition. Elevator was broken (long term). No notification prior. Only accessVia outside staircase that should have been locked for safety: dark, dirty and sketchy. No idea what guests do who can’t like to the second and third story where the only open rooms were. Room was not available because of no housekeeping that day. Pool was dirty and locked during posted open hours. Room in poor repair (tiles loose in bathroom, etc). Windows so dirty they were opaque. Trash sitting out in hallways. Outside of the front desk clerk being friendly, the place felt like a lower end budget hotel rather than a Hilton Hampton. I don’t feel good about staying the next three days.

Vehicles broke into no lot security.

My vehicle was broke into in their parking lot. My back door wind shattered. Would not offer up any camera footage. Manager was very cold and un phased by it and simply said they are not responsible for vehicles. I couldn’t even my stay refunded. She was more concerned running her day care out of her back office.

My friend and I had come for a Women’s Conference and the accommodation for the price for exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel. The location was right off of l10 with many choices to dine in the vicinity.

Staff nice, just didn’t do what they said they would. Older hotel.

The staff was friendly but the service not so good. Older hotel and it felt like it. We arrived at 1:30am and our water was splattering our brown which they said was from pipe repair and the room wasn’t flushed. We requested another room. That rooms iron did not hold water so we requested a new one multiple times. Never showed up. Room wasn’t serviced as requested. Toiletries never brought to room as requested.

Worst hotel experience I can remember. We arrived to find the room very dark, with 2 light bulbs not working. We got those replaced. How I wish that were the last of the problems. Next, part of the showerhead fell on my daughter as she tried to shower. Luckily, she was not seriously hurt. We managed to re-attach it, but after this, my other daughter was now afraid to shower here. Finally, we discovered a pile of used drug wrappers and a dirty, red-stained rag in the corner of our room. At this point we started re-packing our bags, and left immediately. This is the first time we have ever left a hotel room the same night, but we did not feel this was a safe place to stay with a family. Upon our departure, the desk clerk informed me that she could do nothing to refund our charges; I would have to talk to the manager (Suzie) the next day. Despite leaving several messages asking for a call back, this manager refused to call and talk to me about the charges on my card. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this dive, and they should put responsible management in place ASAP.
