    We’re from Long Island NY, & came into town to see old friends and our buddy Travis helped us out a lot with valet and a few shuttle rides to the flying saucer & to CVS. Extremely friendly & he even waited for us to come out. The service at the Homewood suites is amazing. We’ll be back when we come back to Houston.

    We had Charlottehelp us with a reservation and she was helpful, kind and very empathetic to the reason for our visit which is a family emergency. I cannot express how grateful we are to have her assistance.

    over 70% humidity in the hotel room

    While I felt like the staff tried hard, I would not stay here again. The room was old and shabby, although the linens seemed new. When I first checked in, my room smelled like old cigarette smoke. I told the staff and they moved me. The second room didn't smell like cigarettes, but it did smell/feel musty. and I think that is because of the humidity of the room, which is my biggest complaint. The room was just too humid. I woke up feeling all clammy and this was in the fall, not the height of summer. My humidity gauge said it was over 70% humidity pretty much every day I stayed there (about a week).I told the staff, but they said there was nothing they could do. I don't want to stay here again.

    Stayed at the Hampton for a couple of nights while working at the George R. Brown. Walkable to the Brown and many downtown restaurants and Discovery Green, the hotel is comfortable and quiet.
