  Good hotel, bad service in am.

  Bed was way too firm to get any sleep.Tossed and turned all night.Breakfast food was nasty.There was no paper/plastic plates stocked for breakfast, and no visible employees around to ask. Had to start searching thru the cabinets under the counters to find plates. Finally a lady who we assumed was a customer/guest tried to yell at us for getting our own plates. Turns out she was the front desk employee. And was in there fixing her own plate, back to everyone, and playing on her phone.Side note the lady who checked us in the night before was great!   Hair, bugs, food, fingernails and even dirty socks! Don’t stay here if you are looking for a clean room!

  I had a quick turnaround business trip and booked this hotel last minute. The room was disgusting. There was hair everywhere in the bathroom and a pair of dirty socks behind the bathroom door. The carpet was dirty and there were bugs and even fingernail clippings. There was also food pieces and crumbs everywhere. Do not stay here if you like clean room! The next morning went down for breakfast only to find that they didn’t have the signature cinnamon rolls and the pancake machine was broken. The food they did have was barely edible.   Nice hotel, but road noise is bad

  Overall, the hotel was clean and appears new or newly remodeled. It was slightly awkward to get to, not sure if that was because of road construction or not. Wifi was decent, and breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly. Our main complaint was it was very noisy because of I-10. It was so bad, I checked if a window was open (it was not), hence the three star rating. It was actually tough to get a good night's sleep, which was surprising for us since we had spent a long day traveling.   Breakfast was perfect! The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Enjoyed my stay completely. Great value for the price. Internet speed was super fast. I would definitely stay there again.

  Very nice place for a mid-tier hotel. Seemed brand new and was immaculately clean. Nice tile floors in the room, which I like so much more than carpet. Rather than individual mini shampoo, etc. bottles, they had full size bottles attached to the shower walls; it's a much more environmentally friendly practice that I appreciate that some hotels have switched to doing. The hotel receptionist was very friendly. Check-in was a breeze. And, the price was fair.Note: This is one of two Holiday Inns we stayed at on our 15-day road trip. Both were much better hotels than I expected. My memories of Holiday Inns from 20+ years ago were similar to dumpy Motel 6 quality, and I only chose these ones due to lack of options on this trip. I have now reconsidered my stance and will have no problems staying at other Holiday Inn Express hotels again in the future.
