    Where to begin? Pool was closed ("it just happened"--a worker told me it had been closed for nearly a month). Dirty room. No cleaning service--we were out from 10;15 to 4:00. Two of three breakfast juices were empty. TV remote didn't work well ("they're all like that"). Bathroom was filthy. Dirty floor. Caulk stripping off of walls; pieces of popcorn ceiling falling on us in tub. Room smelled bad. How do you get away with advertising this hotel as clean and charging over $150 a night? p.s. As I was working this, the cleaners showed up. Who shows up to clean a room at 4:30?     Clean, Simple, and Easy

    Everything you'd hope for in a hotel. Quick checkin, clean and neat well everything, and easy to understand schedule and layout. The room was clean and very spacious, I thought we booked a smaller suite, a lower end one, so fewer amenities. However, to my suprise it was really nice. Good breakfast and many things are available for guests in the lobby. Desks, all night coffee or tea, a small market, free toiletries, fax machines, computers, printers, etc.

    Great Experience in Houston, Texas at Holiday Inn Express

    We were visiting Houston for a celebration of life for a departed family member. We stayed at this property for 3 nights and stayed in a suite. Our decision to book this property was based on proximity to our family events and the reviews found on Trip Advisor. We were welcomed and checked in by Griselda who was helpful can courtesy. The hotel was very clean including the lobby, hallways and our room. The included breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The food was hot and plentiful. The omelets were tasty and the scrambled eggs were not laying in water! Over all I gave this hotel 5 stars which is unusual for me but I feel it was deserved. Hope to stay there again.

    Generally adequate, nice staff, but there are better places. Breakfast was very good--included a pancake machine! Room was quite large, but it felt empty and kind of run down. Indoor pool, small exercise room. Cut our stay short and moved to a Homewood Suites.
