    This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at by far. Super clean, smelled wonderful as soon as you walked in to the hotel. Great service by the staff. Breakfast was great too.     There was one employee that works morning and he was the only pleasant person at this place. The room was dirty, housekeeping opened the door while I was urinating in the restroom in my room, the front desk accused me of stealing pistachios (when they don't even sell those), my room key stopped working, I had to change rooms because the lights in the first room were flickering and wouldn't turn off. There was also visible black mold in the bathroom and blood on the sheets.     Pictures on web site make this place look better than it is

    Rooms are much more worn and dirty than shown on web site.Hall way in main lobby had dried mud from someone entering with caked dried mud on their shoes. The first room they gave us had a portable humidifier running in it. Assuming there was reason for the humidifier we requested another room. Breakfast was skimpy and multiple items were out and needing to be replenished.Shower curtain was too short casing a lot of water on the floor. Curtain could not be positioned to stop the leaking.Dirt was still on lobby floor at check out.This stay tarnished my impression of the LaQuinta brand.     The king suite was awesome. . Our granddaughters enjoyed the room. Not sure if we will return to the Alvin location due to the person in charge of the breakfast , he was very rude. The elevator was not a long wait .     LIVED UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS!

    My family and I were very pleased upon arrival! very clean and very friendly, we were treated with so much respect by the staff and housekeeping was very excellent at their job! The breakfast was very yummy and looked great, our room was spotless when we walked into it, pool was clean, we had a few questions and overall staff was very understanding! OVERALLLLL we were very glad and pleased, sadly the day came where we had to leave but we will for sure be staying here again!!!
