  My vehicle was broken into on the last night of a three night stay while it was parked right outside the lobby doors in a well lit parking lot with several surveillance cameras visible. The intruders spent a lot of time completely ripping apart the inside of my car but none of this was noticed by the desk clerk. I reported the break-in to the Houston Police Dept. and asked the daytime front desk personal if they could review the security camera video and provide a copy to HPD. I was advised that only the owner could do this and that he was not available but they would send him a message. Over the next three weeks I called almost every day to inquire about the video and was continually told that they were sending messages to the owner, who was out of the country in India, and that only he could access the security camera system. At one point a clerk told me that the owner had isolated the break-in of my vehicle and forwarded a copy of the video to the police dept. A call to the HPD vehicle crimes unit proved this to be a lie. I tried emailing this owner through two different email addresses and contacted the Choice Hotels corporate office to have a message sent to him but as of the end of December, there has been no reply and no effort whatsoever to assist in the police investigation of my vehicle burglary. The owner and management of this hotel obviously has no regard for the safety and security of their paying guests and I strongly advise anyone considering this unsafe location to stay elsewhere.

  There is no Breakfast. Instead of breakfast they offer you coffee and toast. Even that is not fresh. They installed certificates as the best provider of service.The room stinks, shower not working well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Terrible Front desk Girl

  The girl at the front desk was very unprofessional and very rude!! I went through booking and only needed one night and she said it was for 2 and I proceeded to show her the email and confirmation and she told me to call booking and refused to look at it. I tried to pay with my business card and she refused it and said it wasn't real. The entire process was insane. I was also charged over 50$ for a wash rag that had makeup on it. I called to see what the charge was for and the same rude girl answered and told me she had pictures and I asked to see them and she told me she didn't have to show me anything. She told me she would have a manager call me.She called me back and was very rude and told me she wouldn't have anyone call me. She should not be working for the public as rude as she is. Also being charged over 50$ for a wash rag is insane. Wash it and it comes off. There is no sign that says don't use the wash rag. I have 6 different charges trying to come out of my bank but the bank refused them and it is all from this hotel.   Pretty good except for a humidity issue

  Location is great--there's a coffee shop, bookstore, donut place, and three parks all within a mile and accessible on foot, and then of course being right off 45 made auto access very easy. Breakfast was not quite as good as other Sleep Inns I've stayed at--sometimes there were no eggs (I am an early riser so I know they didn't run out) and this location uses a coffee concentrate machine instead of fresh-brewed filter coffee. Main issue was ventilation in our room. Houston is very very humid and there was no bathroom vent or way to open a window. Neither the AC nor the heat could address the problem because the room was just that moist. Our clothes were all damp when we put them on from being in the drawers, and everything we brought ended up smelling like mildew by the end of the week. However, an adjacent room that a member of our family was in was fine. Overall I love Sleep Inns. They don't use perfume in the lobby and rooms, which is a huge plus, and the amenities are always operational and sufficient. This location was fine. Staff was pleasant.   Nice room needs more lights

  Nice room, clean and comfy. The only thing is that the lights were only the ones from the lamps so at night it was not enough but in overall it was a nice experience. The breakfast was always the same, maybe they could change it a little day by day.
