    Mostly Absent front desk person. Asked 1,2, 3 times for basic things that never materialized. TV didn't work-- person supposed to come and fix never showed. Moldy wet smell in the room itself (not in newly renovated hallways) bedding "comforter" is wafer thin. Disgusting pool. Rinky dink motel here GO ELSEWHERE .

    The hotel itself is OK but the Shuttle Service to and from the airport is diabolical - which is not funny if you're aiming to catch a flight and the shuttle turns up 25 minutes late; it puts everything else in the flight-catching process under stress. Getting from the airport to the hotel the night before took *50* minutes (it's a 13 minute drive)!!! I had to call them direct to ask for a shuttle - and then they told me that they don't pick up from Terminals D or E (i.e International). WTF? This was proved the next morning when the shuttle refused to take me to Terminal D/E but kicked me out at Terminal C instead. I would call it a "service provided for the convenience of those providing the service" - NOT the people whom it is meant to serve.

    Dirty, Dismal, and Disgusting

    The Sonesta Essential was the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed. The hallways smelled so bad I was gagging walking towards our room on the 4th floor. The room was filthy and had a horrible stench. The carpet was stained and I didn’t want to take off my shoes. The windows haven’t been cleaned in years. The next day my skin was so itchy only assuming it was bedbugs. Thank God we had an early flight so I didn’t have to spend an another minute in that filthy place. Also, save the generic response that “this is not atypical situation”It’s very typical situation as the reviews have reiterated the same complaints for many months.     CLEAN EXPECTACULAR HOTEL

    I had an awesome experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean. The sheets were clean, restroom and bathtubs felt like home. The check in process and check out is easy and fast. I can say this is the best hotel in that area.     They are very nice and help me a lot with the issues with the delayed flight.The front desk girl support me a lot.I am recommending this hotel it is close to the airport and the shuttle has a good schedule.
