  I can definitely see this is a place that I will be keeping in mind throughout the future due to the fact of the cleanliness and everything else around the area and the complex itself. The staff members were truly nice and well-being, and they also kept the hotel cleaner on a regular basis !!!   Great place to stay for couples needing a longer stay in the Clear Lake, Webster, League City area.

  We visited the Sonesta Simply Suites to view a room for future trips to MD Anderson (League City). We met a lovely and very friendly representative named "KRYSTA". She is amazing. She showed a room and explained everything we wanted to know and more. We were sold. We reserved a room immediately. The hotel has a home feel and is off the roadway with little to no road noise. The hotel smells very clean and is well maintained. There is no pool, but that is not an issue for us. This is not a hotel with breakfast and normal amenities. This is a place to stay when you are in town for an extended time. It is perfect for couples or singles. The full kitchen is well appointed and fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Grocery stores (Aldi, Kroger, HEB, La Michoacana) are very nearby. McDonalds and Denny's are literally in the parking lot. This is a great place to stay at a reasonable price. They also have an outdoor sitting area with two gas burners (BBQ) for your use. We are very happy here. It is 15 minutes from the hospital as well. Bay Brook Mall is 10-15 minutes away.   Don’t book unless you plan to cook your own meals.

  Please be aware that this hotel is a perfect place for someone who needs an extended stay. We didn’t understand this from the description. There are tons of places in the area that are much nicer if you want a nice room with services. They couldn’t even provide ice. They told us to use the ice machine in the room which didn’t even work. Just know what you are getting into before you book.   Sonesta Simply Crap. This place is poorly run, poorly taken care of and is not very clean. Badly in need of a remodel.

  This place is poorly run, poorly taken care of and is not very clean. It started with the rodent traps in plain sight as I entered the foyer. The carpet in my room had several stains, chipped paint, empty picture frame on the wall and old fixtures. It is in dire need of a remodel!I stayed there for three weeks, unfortunately. They “cleaned” the room three times, they just changed the towels, made the bed and took out the garbage. There was a dead bug on the windowsill the day I checked in and that bug stayed there until I checked out on the 26th. It’s probably still there! The hotel does not have a generator so during hurricane Beryl, the power was out for about three days. It was like a movie walking down the hallways in the dark with my iPhone light to get to my room; their glowsticks in the halls didn’t help. When they finally got power to the hotel, the parking lot lights still didn’t work for at least another day, I can’t explain that. Two weeks into my stay, I took the elevator up to the second floor to get to my room and was hit with a terrible gas smell. I reported it to the front desk and they said that they had turned off the gas and that I could stay on the first floor room. (That’s not going to help me if the hotel explodes.) Luckily the smell dissipated by the next morning. If my company didn’t require me to stay there, I would have checked out and gone to another motel. The best thing about my room was that the mattress was very comfortable. There are much better, and definitely cleaner, hotels in Clear Lake than this one. I suggest you stay at one of them. I’ll never stay at another Sonesta property.

  Lobby Stinks! Really - it smells bad.

  For the price, it is not the value I expected. First, the lobby stinks! It smells like a dirty mop combined with sweaty sports clothes. My suite was very clean. The appliances are old and there was no dish soap other than for the dish washer. The bathroom was also very clean, with enough towels - shampoo, conditioner and body soap are supplied in a wall dispenser but there was no hand soap. The bed was clean, comfortable and the pillows are very good. We had problems using the internet via the wifi. No pool, no onsite food service (McDonald's is nearby) - but there is a laundry. I doubt I will stay again. While we understand you may not plan on returning, it's our hope you reconsider to allow us another chance to provide you with an improved experience.
