  Minimal but clean

  This hotel was basic but felt clean with a decent size room. The furniture is very basic but appeared to be in good shape. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which we appreciated. The cons were constant road noise and for us personally the bed was not the most comfortable. Biggest disappointment was the wheelchair accessible room we requested. The placement of the shower door had the door opening next to the toilet which prevented a wheelchair from reaching the shower opening. The shower was not accessible to anyone using a wheelchair.   The room is very spacious and the bathroom as well. My room has a walk-in shower, no bathtub. Check in was quick and easy. The dining area appears small, but I’ll check it out tomorrow. The only noise I hear is from the highway nearby. There’s a Velaro next door if you need gas or snacks.   Had a good stay here - it was a good choice.

  We had a good stay in room 302 which is on the quiet back side of the building. The staff was friendly but couldn't recommend a nearby BBQ restaurant since she didn't live in the area. We ended up Googling and found Pappas up the freeway. The bed was comfortable, the windows have black out shades. Everything was in good shape and very clean. The shower was hot and towels very soft. The included breakfast was good but it closes already at 9.00 am so don't get there late! Besides the regular toast and bagels and cereals they have make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, lots of yogurts, oranges and bananas, and even granola bars to take with you. After 9.00 am they don't refill the coffee thermoses or anything so take everything you need before then. It's very easy to drive to the airport car rental return using backroads from there and avoiding busy roads, but the road is full of potholes. The drive is just 10 minutes and there is a gas station almost beside the hotel to fill up your rental car along the way. We'd stay there again - we thought the price we paid was excellent for what you get.   Great stay

  I stayed here for 1 night with my girl friend since we were visiting for a concert in the Houston area. Surprisingly the room was very very nice. The room was very clean and bright (which a plus since I dislike the yellow lights). The bed were also comfy. There were free breakfast which is even great. My friend and I checked in very late due to our flights being delayed and the front desk were friendly and nice.   The room was very clean and fresh, but the elevator was not and smelled strongly of pot!The beds were a little hard, but not the worst I’ve slept on.The breakfast was not that great mostly all gone when we got there at 8:00!The front desk was mostly deserted and was rarely staffed and if you needed anything you had to ring the bell and wait, doesn’t make you feel very welcome.
