  Do not not recommend staying here.-La Quinta Inn, Olathe KS.

  We stayed at La Quinta Inn in Olathe, KS May 15th thru May 17th, 2026. I was overcharged for the room by over $200. The hotel desk clerk I spoke with refused to correct the error, said there was nothing they could do, and slammed the phone down in my ear. This was after 2 calls to the same individual, and after disputing at the desk during check out. I even had my original reservation confirmation showing I booked the room at a total cost of $497.92. I was I charged a total of $703.18 instead. The hotel desk clerk said it was not their error, Wyndam had done an update without their knowledge which changed the cost of the room. She instructed me to call Wyndam directly, which I did.. They referred me back to the hotel to correct the incorrect charge. This is when the clerk hung up on me. I have filed a complaint but no one has reached out to me as this time. They said it could take up to 7 days. The hotel also and a strong strange odor , and the odor in our room smelled similiar to cat urine. There had been a previous leak in the shower ceiling which was not properly repaired and covered with tape. The tape was pulling away. There were rust stains from the metal in the tub running downward. The courtyard had the same trash and cigarette butts scattered around it during our 3 day stay. It was never cleaned up. There was a designated smoking area, but no place to place cigarette butts, so they were all over the courtyard as well. Housekeeping never came to our room to clean ect. Myself, mother and daughter were forced to use the same 2 hand towels, and same 4 bath towels over our 3 day stay. Very poor way to treat guests. The lobby looks nice, but don't be fooled. This is a sham of a hotel. It's a disgrace and poor reflection on Wyndam.

  Stayed in December from 23-25 in 2026 the room had two separate bedrooms and was very spacious and clean. The indoor pool very very warm and I also used there washer and dryer work perfect. The early morning breakfast is cooked and hot ready to choose from array of things.

  Cockroach sited, gross stained bed with no mattress protector, heat wouldn’t turn off and we were by the stairs so the door kept slamming. When brought to the front desks attention he stated that he’d have to wait until a manager came in and they would give us a call. He would not call anyone to speak with us before we left. Room 327. Cost $111.

  Hotel located across the street from KU Med Center. Perfect location, recently renovated, beautiful and met all our expectations!!

  Late night stop during a long drive. Check-in was fast and friendly, room was clean and bed super comfy and it was quiet. The breakfast was great and the lady running it was so cheerful and kind. Appreciate that they allow dogs for $20.
