    4x4 Adventures at Hunter Mtn

    rating16 Oct 2018

The 4x4 adventures at Hunter Mtn offer a unique opportunity to take your 4x4 Jeep up to the top of the mountain while learning how to correctly operate a 4x4 off road. The instructors are great. They make sure that you are safe and your Jeep is not damaged while navigating up ski trails. The mountain scenery is breathtaking. The resort is beautiful and the staff are so friendly you will feel welcome.

    Great place for families

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a 2Br condo but it was MUCH bigger than expected. There was another bedroom with lounge area below as well as loft. The decor might be slightly dated, but I’m picky and I was still very comfortable. Plenty of storage for ski gear and anything else you bring. Occupancy may say 6 max but honestly you could fit 8-9 comfortably. The location is ideal at bottom of slopes.

    A great stay!

    rating22 Feb 2017

We are a family of 4, we stayed in the liftside condo B7 just before the Presidents's week. We were very impressed by the high standard of cleanliness in the condo, especially the kitchen, the utensils. Condo was comfortable and cosy, wifi worked well and very near to everything, the base lodge, main lodge and lift to the ski. We also used the outdoor pool and hot tub (wonderful wonderful swimming experience in winter!!) The Van Winkle restaurant was very good, meals were creative, delicious and reasonably priced compared to the foodmarket at the base lodge. And a big thank you to the reception who kindly checked us in a little earlier and who also arranged a shuttle to take us to the bus stop bound for New York home. Thank you very much!

Favorite place to stay at Hunter Mountain

    rating11 Jan 2017

We started staying in the Liftside Condominiums at Hunter Mountain in 2009. We loved the units so much that we purchased a 1 bedroom/1 bath unit in 2011. Excellent location, walking distance to the slopes (D lift), the hotel (restaurant, bar, pool, sauna) and snow tubing. Full kitchens and washer/ dryer in every unit. 1 bedroom units are great for families with kids. Much quieter than staying in the hotel.

    Beyond Expectations

    rating21 May 2016

We arrived at the Slopeside Condos with not the highest expectations based on the reviews we'd seen on this and other websites. We checked in and stayed in E building, room 5. It had 2 bedrooms and baths with a loft bedroom as well. It worked perfectly for we 3 high school friends who were looking for a way to celebrate our 60th birthday year!! We had reservations with the NY Zipline and looked forward to celebrating by crossing "zip lining" off our bucket lists. The condo was clean and well situated. In fact I'm not sure what the problem was with the slope side condos based on the reviews we'd read. There were 2 nice bedrooms with a bathroom next to each and then a loft bedroom. The kitchen/living room was nice and there was a small balcony that really didn't look onto much but was a nice addition to the condo. We were able to eat a couple meals at the restaurant in the Mountain House and also went into Tannersville for one meal and into Hunter for another. The zip line experience was wonderful and the skyline chair lift rides had started early this season so we were able to ride that up to the top of the mountain and enjoy that experience as well. The only negative I would mention about the Condo was that it had a couple maintenance issues that made our stay a little difficult: both bathrooms GFI outlets would not reset so that any hair dryers, etc could be used, and in addition, the upstairs toilet needed to be plunged after each use. Not exactly what $300 a night should get you. Aside from that it was a quiet and enjoyable weekend! I'd recommend it to a friend!
