    The owner/CEO of this Doubletree, Bin Zhang, who lives in a mega mansion in the Bradbury Estates, refuses to allow his staff to heat the pool and has them lie for him. He only cares about the bottom line. We have stayed here many times in the past and now this new owner, who thinks he is a Prince and his customers and his employees are his peasants. Has turned the heat off. Families here on vacation can’t use the pool because it is colder than the Pacific. We were regular customers but he has stolen our money enough. Please call ahead, if they say the pool is open or good, then the pool is freezing, refuse payment. This is corrupt business because most customers are visitors and do not complain. Shame on you, easy to google, Meili Investments LLC. I’m sure his pool is heated. I will gladly take this review down if you do the right thing

    We stayed here for two nights. Overall the stay was very pleasant but we did have a small issue with the AC. It got louder and louder throughout the night with a high pitched sound coming from it. We did address with the front desk and they did offer a another room. Seeing that it was not too hot during our we dealt with it.The pool was open which a plus but the jacuzzi was on the smaller side. All-in-all, well worth it. The food in the restaurant was also decent.

    Excellent stay. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Housekeeping did a great job. Hotel is conveniently located for many attractions, like the Huntington library, Descanso Gardens, and L A County Arboretum but without the Pasadena prices.

    Comfortable Stay

    The location is great as it is close to the expressway, the parking is free, and we did pay the room rate that included morning breakfast. Not sure if it was worth the $34 extra per night but it was for us considering we didnt have to leave the facility. Upon checking in the staff was nice advised us of the breakfast hours and what to do. BUT I was surprised I had to ASK for cookies as it wasn't given to us. In the past, Doubletree used to provide these cookies warm, these were not. So yes, call me petty but I was disappointed in that, but don't be alarmed, I still finished it before even making it to the room LOL. The room was clean, but could use some updating the lampshade had splatter of something orange, and the carpet was a bit snagged. But the bed was comfy and it appeared clean. I normally bring my own wipes and wipe things down anyways. But overall it was a decent stay for the price in comparison to what I have paid elsewhere.

    Just take my sincere advice and go elsewhere. It’s a unsecured nasty place and they don’t care. Spend your money on a better place.
