  This hotel is affordably priced and located next to several restaurants such as Dennys, Popeyes, KFC and McDonald’s. There is complimentary coffee for breakfast as well as ice and vending machines. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV, leather recliner seat, work desk with office chair and bar soap and mini shampoo bottle in the bathroom.Beware that this hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool and gym. Also it’s located next to rail tracks so there is constant train noise throughout the day. The hallways have a slight odor and there is a $50 deposit required at check in however the front desk waived it for me.

  Nightmare on Bonita Avenue!

  From the outside it looks like you have hit the jackpot but you have actually hit the cesspit! It is a rather quaint looking lodge style building with nice exposed rock facade. Very welcoming. We were recommended to stay here by friends who had been coming for 11 years - they did not know that the Extended Stay America Hotel San Dimas had been sold to new owners who renamed it Extended Studios so that you think you are in the right place. Some would call that fraud! ( Even on this review site the name has not been updated. The photo is of the Extended Studios Hotel that we stayed in but it is no longer called Extended Stays America and is not part of that chain)Sadly they have run this place into the ground! The room was falsely advertised as having a fully equipped kitchen - it did not. Just empty cupboards, a stained work surface and a dirty, rusty, battered fridge. No eating or cooking implements of any kind. Not so much as a paper cup to drink from! It advertised premium bedding - it consisted of a sheet, a stained mattress cover and a lightweight cover sheet - no blanket at all! Since when do hotels not provide a blanket on a bed? It's next to a train line that sounds horns every hour throughout the night! We had the window open to try and cope with the stench so that just made the noise worse.It claimed to have the charm of southern California when it actually has the stench of New Delhi! It's a shame you can't photograph smell because this entire hotel stinks - if we hadn't been dog tired from 30 hours of travel we wouldn't have even stayed the first night of the seven we had booked! Sticky carpet - this is a pet friendly hotel ( but not human friendly!) and the owners have no idea how to remove urine, judging by the sticky carpet and stench. There was even faeces wiped on one wall! My wife could not sleep and became nauseous in the middle of night so we did not get the sleep we desperately needed.Toilet seat loose and in danger of falling off. Stained sheets, stained bath towel, stained work surfaces in the otherwise empty kitchen. Bathroom fan did not work. Elevator seemed to have been wiped down with slops from a mop bucket. No breakfast, just a dodgey looking coffee percolator in the foyer but who in their right mind would eat or drink anything made in this dump? Odd looking characters line the entrance to the hotel emitting clouds of tobacco smoke. The staff were sympathetic when I explained my concerns and refunded my deposit and assured me that Bookings.Com had been authorised to refund our remaining six nights accommodation costs, nearly $1000AUD. One staff member explained that our room had been demolished by a previous guest ( his words!) and that he thought it was now OK. I suggested that renting it out to someone was a pretty poor way of finding out that it was not OK! They even asked me to come back and stay in the future as they were working on improving it!!!! Let me think about that - yeah, nah! I have a screen shot from Extended Studios saying the refund was authorised but Bookings.com insists they cant reach agreement so I have no refund. My bank has had no joy getting a refund through Mastercard in four weeks since notifying them so someone is lying. If I don't get a refund I will have paid $1076 for one night in the crappiest hotel in the USA! Probably would have been cheaper to fly to a slum in India to experience this type of squalor!Aussie hot rodders, if you are coming for the Roadster Show or the Pomona Swap Meet or NHRA Museum, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The location is tempting, as is the price, but the chances of falling sick in this place are high! I can recommend the Holiday Inn just a few blocks up the street. Beautiful rooms and a hotel run by people who care.

  Dog pee infested

  This is the worst room I have ever been in!!! The room smelled so bad of dog pee i couldn't stay. They charged me $50 for my 2 dogs however, I dont think they have EVER cleaned the carpet. The halls were even full of pet hair. Holes in the carpet, holes in the screen. Thank goodness I could open the windows. I left the hotel within 15 minutes. I couldn't breathe, should be condemned.

  Horrible stay. Desk said they over booked, then they said we didn't pay. Showed proof of payment then got a room with no shower curtain, clogged shower drain, bed that looked slept in and no ice cups. I wouldn't stay again under any circumstances.

  I wish I could give this place a negative 10.This is THE MOST DISGUSTING hotel I have ever booked. The photos on booking.com and Hotels.com are misleading they show EXTENDED STAY rooms not this sh*thole.The “Hotel” has tweakers outside all damn day and night making noisethe moment you step into the “Hotel” it wreaks of Cigarettes and weed. the elevator smells sooo bad as well and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. The halls were tainted with Cigarette smoke. it smelled sooo awful. the smell stuck to my hair and clothes. MY ROOM…My room smelled like chemicals but once that wore off, the room smelled like Piss and FEET. Black spot immediately on the bed. hole in the carpet. Carpet not connected to the wall. I felt so uncomfortable there that I decided to not stay there and called a friend. I HAD to stay one night, the very last night of my booking. I woke up with BUG BITES ALL OVER MY ARMS AND LEGS. That was the last straw. I called in regards of a refund and they refuse to give me one so now, i’m pressing the issue even further. This place should be shut down.
