    Park and Cruise at LaQuinta Miami North with vehicle stolen from lot in view of the front desk

    Park and Cruise review at LaQuinta Miami North HotelRecently, I took advantage of the Park and Cruise at the LaQuinta hotel in which I stayed two nights and left my vehicle for another 12 nights. The hotel has an incentive to park your vehicle at no cost for seven nights and each additional night $ 35.00 per night. I spent two nights at the hotel and twelve a more nights with my vehicle parked in the hotel lot in view of the hotel desk. I paid the hotel cost of the extra nights and left on the cruise. Upon my return from the cruise the vehicle was gone. I notified the front desk that my vehicle was gone and if they had any knowledge of its whereabouts. The front desk stated it might have been repossessed and she had no further knowledge and did not offer any assistance . I spoke to the Manager on Duty who had no knowledge of the incident and stated the security camera's were not working and offered no further assistance and only stated thst LaQuinta had no liability in this matter. I contacted the Dade County Police who did respond and in a professional matter took the information for follow-up by the Detective Division. I would never recommend parking your vehicle at this location in that my vehicle was parked in a lighted area in view of the front desk but no Staff had any knowledge of this valuable car being stolen.

    American Airlines put us up here after a missed connection and I could not have been more disappointed. The floor in our room was filthy, there was mold is every crevice, paper thin walls, and loud guests. This hotel is absolutely bare bones, there is only one hair dryer in the entire hotel. Do not stay here.

    It was expensive for one night stay. The front desk was not customer focused. I had booked 2 rooms , but 1 room was in different name . The other person's flight was delayed so I wanted to get the room so that other people could have used it. Though I had given my CC, I was told that only the person whose name was in the reservation is present then only the key to the room will be assigned.In the room there was not adequate number of coffee and tea packets. Even less number of glass for 3 person.La Quinta is supposed to be better compared to Days Inns, Ramada etc. But this was not at par to its category.

    No Airport Shuttle Bus or Communication!

    Tried to confirm advertised airport shuttle bus details prior to travel after booking via Morerooms. Couldn't contact hotel directly other than an international call. Sent an online contact form via main Wyndham website and daughter called them, as she's in Florida, and they confirmed it runs approx every hour.Arrived at MIA and waited at Hotel Shuttle point. No bus, so daughter called again. Call answered by reception after she said "Hi, how are you?" by receptionist just asking "What do you want?!". Eventually told that shuttle bus wasn't running!Had to get an Uber for $32. Made a complaint to hotel at check-in and to Morerooms. Morerooms came back saying as it was complimentary that no recompense was available. La Quinta Inn still to respond after reception told us to email.Rooms themselves are definitely more motel than hotel, but for one night clean and adequate. Obviously airport and road noise plus a noisy air conditioning unit. Bed very comfortable and good free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was good too.I wouldn't recommend based on very poor, non-existant and rude communication. Plus of course no as advertised shuttle bus. Would tell people to book a better known airport hotel like Radisson, Hampton etc who did run shuttle buses and no doubt have better communication.

    This place needs an update. The breakfast was cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice and coffee. They ran out of coffee. The room smelled and the shuttle from airport wasn't working so we had to get an Uber
