    Broadmoor Miami Beach - This hotel is not as it appears online

    Travelers BEWARE! I just wanted to give anyone planning to book a stay at this hotel that the pictures noted online are totally deceiving and are completely out of date. The hotel is in dire need of renovations, smells, and we were completely duped. We came in late on a Friday night and were exhausted from a full day of travel. Upon arrival at the hotel, we initially thought we were getting dropped off by our Lyft driver who spoke limited English in a dark alley, however, after a call to the hotel, we were informed we were at the correct place. That was our first sign. At check in we were put on the 7th floor and then informed the elevator was "out of order." The exact words to my husband who is almost 60 years old were, "you look like a strong guy." My husband ended up carrying two 50-pound suitcases up seven flights of stairs with no offer of help from the front desk or hotel staff. We were told the elevator would be fixed the next day. The rooms were nothing special, the window air conditioner ran non-stop, and there was absolutely no water pressure. The restaurant on site was also nothing special even though it was hyped up to be. I normally do not leave a review but felt it was necessary so that someone else does not make the mistake of booking at this property and experiencing what we did. The elevator was still not fixed when we left two days later, and I bet it is still not fixed to this day.

    The Broadmoor is in a great location with oceanfront rooms. We were already happy with our stay, and then we met Jennifer at the front desk. She is the best in the business—Personable, outgoing and smiling constantly! Our flight got cancelled right after we checked out and she was able to get us a new room and checked in without missing a moment of fun on the beach. 11/10 service from our fellow midwestern, St Patrick’s Day fan!!We will DEFINITELY be back to the Broadmoor!!

    Poor quality hotel for the price

    Terrible hotel, shower water had no pressure at all, tub was gross and not well cleaned. Towels all had hair embedded into them. Fridge was older and not clean, chair was missing a cushion. No breakfasts are included at hotel, parking is paid by the hour between 8a-11p, I feel like hotel should have covered parking fees during construction. Elevator was broke so carrying luggage up and down stairs was fun. Daytime Staff was nice though, nighttime staff werent very personable.

    Terrible we have 4 suitcases and the elevator is not working…. They told us to carry it ourselves.

    Location is convenient. It’s right on the beach and it has a pool, which is really nice. But most of all I haven’t even got there yet. I work for the government and the exceptional pre-Stay from Agustina was exceptional. She upgraded me and matched all my needs. She also recommended an exceptional evening night out in South Beach at mangoes. She is very accommodating very kind and very sweet.
