    I was tired of staying at the Rockaway Hotel that offers nothing for the price they charge. So I found this place and I truly recommend it. The price and the accommodation was great! Rooms were clean and breakfast was amazing. I love that they have fresh coffee, tea and water 24/7. People that work their are very friendly and helpful.

    This is the worst hotel I have encountered in three decades of travel. Dirty, broken furniture, appalling breakfast and the rudest man on the planet manning the reception deskI was booked in and paid in advance for two nights, but had to return to the UK after one night due to an emergency at home. The hotel refused to refund me for the unused night. Why anyone would behave like this, I cannot comprehend. For third-party reservations, the hotel is not authorized to issue refunds, as payment and cancellation terms are controlled by the booking provider.We were also unable to locate a reservation under the name provided.     OK if you have to stay near the JFK

    Firstly, the main point w. this hotel is having the shuttle bus collecting you.However the management send you incorrect (probably obsolete?) directions how to get to this shuttle.The manager is not the politest on earth and has very little patience to explain you how to get there.That was very disturbing.Secondly, check your payment record, because I was mistakenly charged twice. First, by booking and then again at the desk by that manager. They settled it finally but should be aware of. More:There is a breakfast but is very basic. No coffee facilities in the room, there is a free coffee large kettle outside at all times. The room is clean but the shower facilities show significant traces of being worn with time. We do note this possibility with most of our booking partners, though it’s possible that not all partners have updated their listings accordingly.As you may know, JFK is currently undergoing a $20 billion redevelopment project. This has resulted in significant traffic congestion and temporary changes to terminal access—many of the airport’s eight terminals, which were once interconnected, now require exiting and reentering the airport to reach each one.We certainly understand that being picked up directly at your terminal is more convenient. However, during periods of heavy congestion, redirecting to Federal Circle often allows for a faster and more reliable pickup experience. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenges during JFK’s extensive construction.
