    Location was OK, close to the park, further from Canada. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel needs to be renovated. Rooms are dated and dirty, breakfast was not good. Parking was easy.

    Extremely Unprofessional Treatment by Hotel Staff”

    I want to share my experience so other travelers, especially solo travelers, are aware.I reached the hotel around 11:30 PM–12 AM and was told that due to hotel policy, my room would only be available at 3 PM. I accepted that, kept my luggage, and went out instead of creating any issue.I returned around 6–6:30 PM and politely asked if my room was ready. I was simply told, ‘No, the room is still not ready.’ When I asked how long it would take, I was told they didn’t know. I was extremely tired after traveling, and since my booking was non-refundable, I only asked if a refund was possible because the hotel still could not provide the room.The lady at the counter suddenly became very rude and aggressive. I even apologized multiple times and tried to calmly explain that I was alone, a solo female traveler, and it was getting late, so I didn’t know where I would go. Instead of helping, I was told that because I booked through a third-party platform, they could do nothing and I should ‘go deal with the third party.’Not once did they ask to check my booking confirmation or try to help resolve the situation. Soon after, the police were called on me, and I was made to leave the hotel with all my luggage late at night.What hurt me the most was that other guests who arrived around the same time were given rooms, but because my booking was through a third-party platform, I felt completely ignored and disrespected.I’m sharing this so other travelers can be careful, especially Indians and solo travelers booking abroad. Please be cautious while booking hotels through third-party portals, especially properties with poor customer service. If possible, book directly with reputable hotels because situations like this can become extremely stressful and unsafe.”

    The room was ok but the next morning we got up and noticed our mattress was filthy. Looked liked someone was murdered it. The entire side of the bed was brown red and black
