    The location is great and the lobby is very nice. Our room (220) was really bad. The floor was squishy and felt very unstable. The bathroom sink had a large crack in it. The tub is in desperate need of resurfacing. The finish was worn away and I could feel bumps under my feet. The drain area was disgusting. The room was clean enough, it was just very tired and old and needs an update. I'm truly not sure if it is even safe with the floor. My husband walked out of the bathroom, into the sink area, and I was in bed and I could feel it move as he walked.

    My experience at Courtyard by Marriott San Antonio Airport has been absolutely horrible.First, on day one of my stay, there was no hot water in the sink. We reported it immediately, and a plumber came to the room. He said he would return soon to fix it, but he never came back. When we called the front desk to request a room change, the staff told us they didn’t have permission to move us.Second, on days two and three, we had the exact same issue — still no hot water, and again, no one would authorize a room change so we could have basic amenities.Third, since checking out, I have called this hotel over a dozen times to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. Despite multiple promises, neither the manager (Deanna) nor the general manager (Ruben) has returned my calls. It has now been more than 45 days with no response.I also contacted Marriott Bonvoy customer service and spent more than 2½ hours on the phone, only to be told they could not help beyond asking the hotel to call me — which, again, never happened.I have been a Marriott Member for over 25 years, and this has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had.I do not recommend this hotel due to the poor facility (no hot water), lack of communication (no follow-up for over a month), and complete failure to take responsibility for their actions. This experience has made me seriously reconsider my loyalty to the Marriott brand.

    Friendly service and great location for the airport. The price is right including a breakfast. It was comfortable and quiet during the night.

    If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to survive a night in a post-apocalyptic motel run by a guy who may or may not be cooking meth in the back—look no further!From the moment I opened the door, I was hit with the unmistakable scent of mildew and shattered dreams. The carpet smelled like it had been through three floods and a failed exorcism. Water damage decorated the walls like abstract art—but not the good kind, more like “moldy sadness.”The tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the Nixon administration, and I wasn’t entirely sure it didn’t double as a science experiment.And then there was the front desk clerk. I don’t like to judge, but I’m fairly confident he either just came from a rave or mistook drywall for powdered donuts. He was twitchy, shirtless, and had the energy of a squirrel on Red Bull.Overall, I came for a good night’s sleep and left with emotional trauma and a strong urge to shower with bleach.Would not recommend unless you’re filming a horror movie. Even then—bring your own set.

    This is a prime location just minutes to the SA Airport. The finishes in the hallway look tires, worn and uncared for. Worn and dirty carpet in hallways. Messy, & dirty in front of top elevator. Lobby was made up to corporate standards and left to decline. Had the owners invested to bring up the standards and maintenance was a higher priority this would be the place to come back to, again & again. ➕Convenience: Near airport without any airport noise in the back; even numbered rooms. Near good restaurants and close to the mall. Reasonable charge for secured parking. Rooms appear clean. Cheerful & helpful staff. Our experience was less than 30 minutes from door of hotel to flight gate, including dropping off a rental car and TSA security. ➖Dirty carpet in hallway. Lack of maintenance with dirty carpets, torn leatherette in lobby. Dated colors in lobby. It’s a shame because this should have been a better experience.
