  Everything was mostly fine with the hotel. The breakfast was decent and the hotel was clean enough. Unfortunately for us the room right next to ours had a small dog in it that barked constantly. Not just a few barks here and there, but loudly barking incessantly for hours. Late at night and in the morning as well. We called the front desk to complain but nothing seemed to come of it. We did not have a pet with us. I guess our fault for staying at a hotel that allowed pets. Won’t stay there again.

  This trip was a cousin's reunion. I highly recommend staying at the Drury. It is clean well run, staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast and dinner and drinks was amazing. Lots of room for us to sit in the dining area and visit. I will be staying at a Drury again. Very reasonable cost especially when you factor in the meals and drinks. 10 stars.

  Enough has been said about the location, value of the kick-back & free breakfast being mostly very positive. I wanted to give credit to the local management & their staff for making us welcome at every occasion - from breakfast, kick-back, maid service & general housekeeping/maintenance staff. everyone was helpful with a friendly disposition indicating that thy really cared for the guest & taking care of the facilityI hope that during upcoming renovation later this year, the management can retain as many of the current staff. In this high turnover industry, it is a pleasant experience that the Drury hiring practices search out individuals that care & have enthusiasm for their work. It shows in the guest experience.

  Great choice! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the Kickback in the afternoon is the best!!! We love staying at Drury Inn because we know we will get fed!!

  Like many before me, I rated this hotel 4/5, as I would definitely return, and the positives far outweigh the negatives. The room and location of the hotel were super. Admittedly, however, the furnishings were a bit tired, and worn, especially the carpets in the room. Loved the location right on the riverwalk, and it was centrally located in downtown San Antonio. When booking this hotel, however, ensure it is the one on the Riverwalk. There is another Drury Inn two blocks away. The breakfast and Happy Hour/evening meal were pretty standard for Drury Inn, which is pretty solid overall. I will say that the staff were right on top of cleaning up and re-stocking items in the buffet.Again, like many others, we found the parking garage very tight, and barely had enough room for our rental car. Had it not been for backup camera, I would still be there trying to park...lolThere was some noise at night from the river, but hey, it's the Riverwalk. Not the hotel's problem. Overall, the staff at this hotel were very helpful and accommodating. A gentleman at the check-in (Chris) was a bit curt with us, and maybe was having a bad day. It took far longer than it should. He could have been a bit more patient with us, as one of the party has a hearing impairment, but masks it well. If you are considering booking this hotel, I would, and we would stay here again if San Antonio is in our future.
