  My husband decide to rent this hotel because on the pictures it looked nice and everything and when we got there This hotel doesn’t even look like the pictures it’s H O R R I B L E not clean at all, smells bad, had spider web on the the windows and outside on the stairs , a lot of trash all over the place outside,the shower tub had hairs all the place was not clean because it looked like dark spots. We didn’t even stay there because it look so ghetto and there were no cars of other people at all. DONT STAY HERE

  Better stay strapped

  Stayed for 3 nights for a military graduation. The staff was nice, and The location was great. The hotel was not smelling the best but -you pay for what you get. The beds were semi comfortable but are old so don’t expect the ritz. Unfortunately lackland AFB is surrounded by poverty, so all the hotels within a 10 mile radius will be a bad area. Considering I grew up in a bad part of Dallas, It didn’t bother me as much as it might others. What bothered me - was having to pull my gun, because someone tried to grab my purse as I was entering my vehicle. He dropped it as soon as he saw my weapon. But, being in that situation - isn’t something anyone should deal with. The crime rate isn’t the hotels fault- and not something they can change. They do a great job of keeping it lit well at night, which is a deterrent for criminal activity. If you need to feel safe- pay a little more and go downtown San Antonio (20 minute drive from the base) Stay strapped or get clapped. (In my sons voice)….Seriously though, carry a gun or pay more for a different area.

  I was expecting more and I should not have. The fridge and microwave was not turned on so the fridge had to have time to cool. The bedsheets looked dirty and my blinds were broken so it was not even up. The room had a musty odor that never completely went away. But it was just a place to rest my head while attending my son's BMT. Will not be staying at OYO again.

  Will not repeat The price per night was below $50, you get what you pay for. Staff was friendly no issues there. The hotel needs a serious refresh. Bird nest above our door.cigarettes smoke from outside.

  Just Not What We Expected

  We booked a room for 5 nights while in there for my daughter's graduation from basic training. The price was close to what other motels in the area cost in the proximity of the base. We arrived late after a delayed flight due to weather and it took over an hour to get checked in. The internet was down and the gentleman tried to run my daughter-in-law's credit card anyway. Well, there was a charge for $41 to OYO Spain that the gentleman INSISTED could not have been done by him. Even though the charge was don't on that date, at that exact moment. He then, with attitude called customer service which was no help. She is still waiting for a refund 10 days later. The rooms weren't horrible, house-keeping came daily to make the bed and change the towels but I had to go get wash cloths one day that the did not leave any. They did not clean the room though. The pool that is advertised on their website is not what you see upon arrival. It is extremely small and was filthy when we arrived. Other people inquired about swimming due to how hot it was but I definitely would not have gotten in there if they paid me. There was also some unsavory dealings going on in one of the rooms below us. Okay for a last resort but would not stay here again.
