The hotel is just 1 mile from the San Antonio Airport and the North Star Mall, the largest shopping centre in San Antonio. The Quarry Golf Course (one of the nicest courses in the city), Baptist Hospital, Trinity University, and all the delights of downtown San Antonio (RiverWalk, Alamo, Alamo Dome, Tower of the Americas, and the convention centre) are all within a 5 to 15-minute drive from Red Roof San Antonio Airport, while Six Flags/Fiesta and University of Texas at San Antonio are no more than 20 minutes from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 135 rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Quiet area. Clean room. Plenty of parking. Laundry facility was out of order during my stay. The hotel provides courtesy liquid soap and shampoo, conditioner via a dispenser attached to the mirror above sinks and an additional one on the shower wall. BOTH WERE EMPTY. The room I stayed in did not have a microwave, iron or ironing board. Overall my stay wasn't bad. Quiet location. Staff is friendly. Beds are very comfortable. Elevator is convenient. Tea and coffee in the lobby with a microwave. No pool or breakfast. Good price for the quality. Have stayed here 3 times during my travels. Would stay again. Good for a short night and early flight

Basic place at a good price that was what we needed for an early morning flight. Unfortunately, the flight was too early to try out breakfast. Appreciated the elevator for toting luggage to the 2nd floor. Staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. This place was so misrepresented by their website! The place is 30 years old and shows it! The bath tub was old, stained and rusted. There was no fridge, microwave, coffee or hair dryer as advertised on the website. When asked the staff about this, they informed me that for additional upgrade to a “super deluxe” room I could have these items. I asked to see an upgrade and it was the same room only with these items. The condition of the king size bed was like sleeping on a sofa bed, the linens were very thin and worn. The towels were very thin and old and the pillows were cheap and small.I would not stay at this place EVER AGAIN!!! Phenomenal! RED ROOF INN-San Antonio is a "must stay"!! Felt like I was with family!

Several months ago, I arrived in San Antonio from Louisiana. Traveling with my two pets, I was very apprehensive about the safety and environment of where I would be staying. My children chose the Red Roof Inn-Airport. Since then, I have returned to the Red Roof Inn-Airport, several times, for short and extended stays. Upon each arrival, my pets and I have always been greeted by Management/staff with a warm welcome, phenomenal customer service, exceptionally clean rooms, well-kept interiors, clean bedding, excellent amenities, quick room service when needed, outstanding a/c & heating maintenance, given information about local restaurants, job leads (I'm in the field of education), car repairs, San Antonio sights, medical, etc. In addition, I was always welcomed to sip fresh coffee with the morning "Coffee Club" group!
