Upon check in and because I came from this industry it was apparent to me that this hotel had gone through a renovation. Upon closer observation (interior and exterior) it was a major renovation. Prior to arriving my expectations were just moderate as we've stayed in many Comfort Inn hotels. However it was a pleasant surprise! The building itself (not the orange bldg. in the photos) to the room! The bed was very comfortable, a large TV, the lighting in the room was modern and plenty of receptacles to charge your cell phone, laptop, etc. Just a very enjoyable stay and they're building a new Raising Canes Chicken right across the street.....walking distance. Also a block away was a Del Taco, In & Out Burger and 7-11 convenience store. Close to Seaport Village and downtown as well as Ocean Beach (dog beach), Belmont Park (the roller coaster), Mission Beach and Mission Bay.
