  An Epic Night Made Even Better by Amazing Hospitality!

  I attended Love Isn't Blind at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter and had such a fun experience! Before the event even started, there was a wonderful outdoor space where guests could mingle, play games, take fun photos, and grab drinks. It created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and was the perfect way to settle in and get excited for the event.A huge shoutout to Christina Aspacio. She was incredibly accommodating and truly stood out throughout the evening. She helped us with everything from directing us to the restrooms and after-party details, to simply making everyone feel welcomed. I noticed how hard she was working all night while still maintaining the biggest smile.What really struck me was how she interacted with people. It felt like she knew everyone and was everyone's friend. You don't often see that kind of genuine energy from event hosts, and it was honestly epic to watch. She brought such warmth and positive energy that I truly feel she made the entire event even better.The event itself was so much fun, including the after party and I absolutely can't wait to come back again.   Great property for taking in a ballgame!

  We love the Gaslamp Hilton! We stay there often for Padre games and we always are greeted with a warm welcome. On our last stay there was an issue with a room that hadn’t been serviced yet and accidentally released to be checked into. The staff at the front desk (Beck and Trevor) were so apologetic and got us checked into a nice room right away. They always are very accommodating, polite and professional as are all of the staff we have come across. The hotel is in a great location downtown. Walking distance to Petco Park and many restaurants. Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter is just a quick four-minute walk from Petco Park, so it really is a great place to stay for Padres games. Nearby, you have steakhouses, seafood, Mexican, and Greek food, though we personally recommend our own Wild Hare Bar & Garden restaurant, right next to the lobby. We’ll see you again the next time you come by, and we'll make sure the team sets your room up perfectly for you.

  We had a great seven-night stay at this Hilton. The staff were great! Very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and very cute. Everything felt clean, new, and very California. The bed was a bit firm for my taste, but not uncomfortable. We really enjoyed our breakfast each morning and while the diamond F&B credit wasn't enough to cover a full breakfast, it got you pretty close. As an added perk, this hotel waives the Urban Destination Charge for all golds/diamonds. While you do then lose out on the extra perks, this is a worthwhile tradeoff and does lower the room rate by $40 per night. Overall, this is a great hotel in a great location if you want to explore San Diego or if you're attending a conference next-door at the convention center. If we return to San Diego, we will certainly consider staying here.   Overall, a good stay!

  The room was really nice and aesthetically pleasing. The lighting was good, the bed was comfortable, and I liked that there were two different seating areas - a high top chair and table, and a cute loveseat.The bathroom was pretty basic, but a huge pet peeve of mine is shedded hair. The bathroom floor, shower floor and wall, had hair from the previous guest or cleaning person. That grossed me out and there should have been more attention paid to that by cleaning services. I stayed in 518, and while there was a fairly nice view of the pool and convention center, it was noisy at night from people gathering and music playing from tourist carriage buggy-carts, taking people around. Luckily, I always travel with earplugs and got good rest.The location is near plenty of restaurants and bars.I would definitely stay again, but not facing the high traffic area outside of the hotel.
