In general, this is a great location with good water flotation activities and golf nearby. Wonderful pools. Otherwise, no lake swimming and little else to do. Resort is nicely kept up, but the rooms are dim and not updated, in fact aging.

Fantastic Location with 2 restaurants nearby. Great gluten free options including delish pizza at Amalfi & Brickman's had great wings. We enjoyed the firepit right outside the door. It is a very family friendly place but for just some gals who wanted a night away from our kids it was a bit much to have kids running around playing tag till after 11. We didn't get to use the pool or spa because again so many kids. Would be great if there was an adult pool/spa time.

The resort is nice enough and they have some fun activities. But this is not a luxury resort. The rooms need a refresh and the lighting is very dim. Everything was clean and livable. It's just not updated or luxurious. The Italian restaurant adjacent to the property (Amalfi) was fabulous.

Wonderful oasis from the hustle and bustle of San Marcos. Plenty amenities and excellent restaurants on the property. House keeping is daily and exceptional. Enjoyed my stay. My go-to place for the area.

Great hotel with great views and excellent customer service- Lake San Marcos, San Marcos, Ca. The restaurant was great, great music. It was wonderful watching folk's paddleboard out on the lake. We were there for my son's wedding, so we didn't get much time to do other things, but it definitely is worth going back for a weekend to enjoy the amenities.
