    Avoid unless you have no other choice

    My family and I are relocating to Washington from Utah. We needed somewhere to stay for a few weeks that wasn't super expensive. During my multiple searches in the days leading up to moving day, this hotel kept appearing and seemed a decent choice for the price. So I booked it for almost two weeks, and I will say the price was the best part of the entire stay. This hotel is nestled in between 3 different commercial production / warehouse buildings and we only discovered that they have a night shift after paying for the entire stay. There was constantly a forklift or other vehicle moving in reverse and beeping constantly. Also it was a gamble everyday if you were going to get a hot shower or not, typically only getting a lukewarm shower at best. The maid service does not stop by a room unless the guest is checking out, so you have to take your towels down to the front desk and also ask for more toilet paper at the same time. The drawers on the dresser wouldn't stay closed so I had to use some scotch tape to keep them closed, making them unusable. The fridge leaked water into it's base so randomly the floor would have a giant puddle. I would not recommend anyone stay here unless you have no other choice.     Comfy and not bad

    Seeing the reviews most of them are all terrible but if you want my opinion It's not bad at all. This hotel is actually very quiet during the day and night I know that the reviews seem bad but instead of listening to other people see for yourself. I booked on the 3rd floor so maybe it isnt loud because im on the 3rd floor but everything has gon smooth. The beds are nice and comfy and lots of charging ports but for me and my family this is nice.     Incompetent Thieves

    This is somewhat long, but don’t waste your time here. I’ve tried to let things slide, but the staff here is literally incompetent. Be aware and double check what you are being charged, as they use a calculator and manually insert the rates and taxes (aren’t we in 2021?) Anyways, I noticed mines was over by $78 dollars and the next day I went in to the office to let them know nicely that, hey I believe I was overcharged. They then obviously acted like I was wrong and so the manager recalculated it and said that I actually owe them, I literally did the math a million times prior to letting them know and I even had it broken down on the receipt step by step. Also how is it that the girl at the front desk and the manager can’t use a calculator? How many others were unknowingly charged incorrectly? So I let them know again that they were wrong and after multiple attempts they realized that they calculated it wrong and that I was right. I told them it’s okay, after they apologized to me. I get it people make mistakes it alright. But then I was not given the credit immediately, they said if I extend that they will subtract it from the total or if I don’t that once I check out they would refund me. So basically they kept my money for 2 weeks interest free. But it’s okay, I am nice right? I told them no problem and thank you and went about my business. Now 4 days later after checking out, I realized I haven’t gotten my $100.00 deposit back. Since it was early in the morning, I sent an email to them and later that morning they sent me a receipt that was updated that same day showing that they retained my deposit. I then immediately contacted the front desk and they said they retained my deposit, due to the room missing a comforter and a inlet sheet. Why would I take an old comforter and an old inlet sheet that multiple people have used before me that’s disgusting? but okay, if that were true when was I going to be notified? But what’s strange is, if they knew it was missing since I left wouldn’t the first receipt when I checked out show that they retained my deposit? it wasn’t until I asked that they updated it and decided to retain it, how convenient. Anyways, I literally left everything that was there in the room as is, to include my room keys. I am an adult not a child, I don’t have time to be stealing literal trash. I was then told by the girl at the front desk that she will notify the manager and that they would call me, apparently not because it’s been 7 days since our conversation and I haven’t been contacted or refunded. But you know it is what it is, we pick and choose our battles and dealing with incompetence is simply a lost cause. Lastly if you do extend make sure they update your room keys. Both times that I extended the room keys were not updated by the staff. So I had to go back down to the office to have them fix it, like this is their first time extending someone’s room. I will never be going back to this location. I thought it was decent at first, but the rooms are not super clean, which you would expect with COVID going around and the mattresses like another review has stated were “lumpy”. The area is also a bit iffy, but for a night it’s suitable, anything more than that it’s a waste. Overall I wouldn’t recommend it, but you pay for what you get I suppose, which includes the incompetent customer service. They can keep the lousy deposit, they obviously need it more than I do.     I was staying at this hotel when I was approached by a female who claimed to be homeless. I believe she said her name was Ashley well come to find out she actually works for hometown studio on hosmer st. Which blows my mind that people will stoop that low and take advantage of people when really she isn't homeless. But that's the only thing I really didn't appreciate about this property the rest of the employees were great above and beyond service.

    Booked a room days prior to arrival online, I driven 500 miles to get a phone message I would not have a room due to over booking, all hotels were booked near Puyallup WA so I found one in Auburn Wa, I was pissed I booked, and bought insurance to protect my booking, after reading others reviews this place takes advantage of people's travel plans all the time wish I had seen the reviews sooner, most happy reviews are people extending or living there it's a racketI will seek legal advice when I get back, I don't see how they can do this leaves people stranded and they have to start over ruining vacation plans, when going on a trip this is why we book rooms not to have them take your room away cause overbooking BS
