    This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as we did this past summer. We stayed 2 nights before our cruise this time just to have some extra time in Tampa and to add to our vacation. The hotel is perfect for what we are looking for when vacationing.. exceptional, friendly front desk staff, comfortable, clean rooms, awesome pool, great location, etc. We hit up Maloney’s again this time and also ventured out to Ybor City and other points of interest via the free trolley and had a great time! We really enjoyed The Columbia- had a fantastic dinner there. We didn’t eat breakfast there because it gets really backed up especially due to the waffle making area and people not realizing that they should just go on around if they are not waiting to make waffles. The complimentary shuttle to the cruise port is so helpful and convenient and the young man, who was our driver was so friendly (didn’t get his name). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.     Good location but noisy rooms.

    Great location—close to everything and very convenient for getting around. The hotel itself was clean, and we appreciated how central it was. However, it was unfortunately quite noisy due to thin walls—you could even hear things like the blinds being drawn in neighboring rooms. We stayed for two nights but ended up leaving late on the second night to drive home because of the noise. Breakfast was about what you’d expect, but it was too crowded for us to really make use of it. Overall, a good location, but the noise made it hard to fully enjoy our stay.     Great location, very friendly/helpful staff. When they dropped us off for our cruise we were informed that upon our return, if we have a late flight, they will come and get us, watch our bags and let us hang out until we have to go to the airport. This is the kind of ABOVE AND BEYOND service you don't normal get.... and free.     Love everything except the tv remote and guide

    This place gets a lot of things right. The location is excellent—perfect for walking and conveniently close to the highway. The staff is very friendly, and there's a decent amount of parking available in the deck. Everything is very clean and well-maintained.I stayed in a corner room, which was surprisingly spacious. There's plenty of room in the kitchen, sitting area, bedroom, and bathroom. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in tons of natural light and offer a great view, especially from the higher floors.The kitchen comes with a full-size fridge, a dishwasher, and a few dishes, which is super convenient. The bathroom features a stand-up shower, and the bed is comfortable with decent pillows.The only downside for me was the TV guide and remote—they could be more user-friendly. Still, that’s a minor issue compared to everything else. I’d definitely stay here again.     We had a great experience. Yunier, the shuttle driver, is fantastic. He answered so many questions for us. They offer great amenities, and the staff is so kind. The rooms were spacious and clean. We felt so welcome and enjoyed our time here! 5 stars!
