    First - hotel bed was comfortable but no breakfast or hot coffee in lobby. We came down at 7;30 am. We should have been told that when checking in. The front desk told us breakfast stayed at 6 am. She never told us it was grab and go. The grab and go bag was disappointing. A banana- warm juice box- a muffin. We need to return next month but thinking I will go to another hotel that offers a hot breakfast.

    Place is being renovated....no breakfast. Nice staff. TV is tricky to get going initially. Good location for Moffitt May return in the future. Too early to tell.     I was not informed that the hotel was under renovation. The rooms were horrible. There was a strange smell in the hallways and rooms. The pull out couch in the suite look liked it was pulled off the street corner. No water pressure or hot water. Had a late check out but the key cards stop working at 11 so had to go to the front desk to reactivate our cards.     The staff was friendly, but the hotel room was abysmal. We walked into our room and it smelled strongly of mushrooms, as if they were growing inside the room. The bathroom doors weren't properly aligned so they wouldn't close unless you shoved one of them hard to get it in place. The hinges were rusty, one in particular you could not even see the metal underneath. The shower also had peeled plaster and rust. We both opted out of showering as we felt we wouldn't get any cleaner. Then came time for bed. I untucked the covers to get in my bed and the flat sheet had dust lining it on both sides, along with a dead moth on the flat sheet. I ended up pulling up the sheet so i could sleep on top of it. We were then woken up by loud banging in the morning since the hotel is undergoing remodeling. The Wyndham website has La Quinta as a midscale hotel, and I would strongly disagree that this was a midscale room.

    good room. bit outdated, but clean en roomy..Noisy aircon that needs to be shut of when sleeping. Staff was nice and helpfullBreakfast was verry simple so we did not eat.
