  This is the worst place ever.This place is dirty,noise,no elevators,uncomfortable and old. We stayed here cause everything else was booked.Please do not stay here if no choice then sleep in your car.

  This place is a total dump !!!! Walls are filthy, floor was sticky, smelled like weed, and there was a hole in the bathroom door. The room was extremely dark and had two pathetic lamps that did not help. My friend and I left and went to Hard Rock Casino, not to gamble just to get out of the room. When we came back there was cops everywhere. We were told there was a shooting and to stay in our rooms !!!! Oh hell no ! We got out of there quick and found a different , safer hotel. The only positive was they did give us our money back. Not a good place. Other issues is as others stated. Lobby is closed and the other “guest” are long term residence.

  I stayed at the Rodeway Inn last night for a business trip. The outside looks great in pictures, but what they don’t tell you is that homeless people, crackheads, and prostitutes linger around the property 24/7. Within 5 minutes of being in my room, a pregnant teen girl and baby tried to enter my room; apparently she mistook her room. The lobby is closed indefinitely— probably because of how dangerous it would be to leave it open. Instead check ins are done via a tiny window in the back, where the staff seem to hide out. The sheets were also disgusting, sink had nappy hairs, and my room only had a bed, a tv, one table, and one chair.Trashy is an understatement. Would not recommend.

  Absolutely disgusting. Situated in the projects. 15ft chainlink fence around it does little to keep out the homeless people congregating and begging. The rooms are damp, filthy, roach infested, dirty, bedding is ripped and stained. First room we were shown hadn't even been made up still had duvet on floor and no sheets. Front desk guy was helpful. The indian lady who was wearing the rode way inn uniform and told me she didn't work there I think was telling fibs!. There are down on their luck families living here. Some had loads of people in one room. Steps are damaged and unsafe leading to the 2nd floor. I cannot believe this is operating as a hotel. I was too disgusted and frightened to stay here. Do Not waste your money unless you have no where to live!!! as its slightly better than the streets.

  Rodeway Inn Near Ybor City - Casino poorrly managed

  No safety for the guests... the managers themselves get into hide-outs of the reception with an alternate way out during nights. They entertain the guests from inside the tightly closed window with small slender slit opening during the night...First, the hotel authority should weed out all the fears themselves, fence out the property with reasonable safety, and then should make bookings...if not they should not invite guests.The stay was scary...and had to shift to another hotel for a remaining period.
