    London and Don at the front desk were awesome. They were incredibly helpful, professional, and made the check-in process smooth from start to finish. They went out of the way to help me get everything set up correctly with my stay, which I really appreciated.

    Robert and Jumel greeted us at the front desk. They were courteous, friendly and smiling! They even recommended some good local cuisine which did not disappoint! Hotel was clean and amazing! Shower, the room temperature, views from room, to the indoor nespresso! All made for a wonderful experience! Way to go Canopy folks! Our newest favorite place to stay for business or leisure!     I have now stayed at Canopy twice and both times have been absolutely phenomenal stays. This is a lovely hotel located in a very cute and trendy spot with excellent dining and shops, overlooking the wharf. My first time at the hotel, I stayed in a wonderful suite with the most comfortable bed, a nicely sized bathroom and an inviting lounge/living area and kitchenette. My second stay was in a double which was quite spacious for me and my friend. We had the perfect view of the water as well, which was a nice perk. The best thing is that the rooms are so quiet, no noise from the foot traffic below or your neighbors beside you, so you get excellent rest. And I must commend the housekeeping for the cleanliness of the rooms. As someone who notices the tiniest details, I had zero complaints. The amenities in the hotel are great as well. This review wouldn’t be complete without a thank you to the hotel staff who have been wonderful during both of my stays. Warm welcomes, very friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Don especially helped my friend and I with a minor issue, and was so attentive. This hotel has quickly become my go to for all my visits to DC and I’m sure I’ll be back again.
