    Good location with airport shuttle( had to wait a little to long in my opinion to get picked up at DCA on arrival. For how close it is ,it should run it's loop more frequently) Close to Metro station for visit to Arlington Cemetery, or into D.C. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Small onsite bar/ restaurant a nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee and something to eat. AM or PM Room was clean and comfortable, not botherd by noise like other commenters. Lobby can get crowded.

    Great place. I would stay there again. I spent one night while in transit. I arrived late but it looked like a good property. I got a great rate.     Shuttle service only goes to the airport unless you are given privilege. Weekday $50 inc, fee vs $20 for certain guests.

    Not good. Poor customer service all around for people of color visiting the city. Not a business to support. Disappointing experience.     They service guy was not very friendly and charged the wrong credit card.     Great minus the Bad Apples

    This note was inspired mainly by LeeAnn at the front desk as well as the East African cafe attendant. LeeAnn makes me feels uncomfortable while working in the coworking lounge with a bogus excuse to interrupt me. And while at the coffee shop the cafe lady behaves as if my order is a nuisance. Marriott Courtyard has an interesting staff. Some are very warm and some are cold. So, I have experienced a warm welcome when arriving and I have also experienced thoughtful service at times here. But, I have also experienced 2nd class treatment on too many occasions. Mind you, there is a Black race factor with me. But, I always hold on to faith that following policy and procedure and maintaining good character will safeguard against people with mal intentions. When I am a guest at Marriott a grand majority of them make me feel great while checking in and out and enjoying their amenities. But, there are these bad apples that should not be in hospitality. My thought is, if you are doing security checks on guests in your amenities, have some Marriott level class and respect for your guests while doing so and don’t compromise their dignity. And when you are providing service at the cafe, please give your guest and customer your full attention, it shows Marriott level class and respect. Minus these things, I think this location is a true hidden gem in Crystal City. In my opinion Marriott is the best minus these bad apples.
