    Great hotel

    rating05 Jun 2026

The hotel is a little hard to notice at first glance, but the name “4400...” is displayed at the top of the building. When we arrived at 4:30 PM, there was a line for check-in, but the staff worked efficiently and checked us in quickly. We had already paid online, but they required a credit card to deduct $50 deposit in case of property damage. There was free coffee in the lobby and two vending machines offering water, juice, and snacks, but the prices were very high—$5 for a bottle of water that would normally cost about $1. Since the rooms do not include a refrigerator or complimentary drinking water, I recommend buying water beforehand from nearby CVS.The room was comparable to a 3-star Hilton hotel I stayed at previously. The main differences were that they did not provide toothpaste, slippers, or bottled water. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we found no dust or cockroaches. The bathroom was also clean and stocked with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The bathtub looked a bit old and worn but was clean and fully functional. There is an ice machine on the second floor, which we appreciated. Parking costs $25 per night, but if you don't have a car, that's not an issue. The subway station is only a 4-minute walk away, and we used it to get everywhere. If you plan to use the subway, buy an unlimited pass—it is worth it.There is also an excellent nearby bakery called “Bread Furst” that serves breakfast and sandwiches. Don't miss it!We visited The Wharf, Waterfront Park, and several other attractions nearby. Overall, we were very happy travelers.

Not worth what they charge this far out of the city

    rating26 May 2026

At $230/night, I expected more…No rooms with 2 beds so we had to shareStained, damaged, dripping bathtubNo mini fridge, microwave or coffeemakerNo breakfast…at all, not even a granola barIce machine on room level is turned offGuessing game of prices in the minimart machine General Manager, General Manager at Days Inn by Wyndham Washington DC/Connecticut Avenue, responded to this review Dear Kari,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. It’s disappointing to hear that our accommodations and overall amenities didn't provide the level of comfort and value you expected. Clear communication and well-maintained amenities are important parts of our guest experience, and your concerns will be addressed with our appropriate teams. While we don't offer breakfast on-site, there are several options nearby within walking distance. We hope to welcome you back for a much-improved stay in the future.
