Located 3 blocks from the White House and 4 blocks from the Washington Convention Center, the hotel is in the hub of the capital's business, government and tourist sites. Facility

300 rooms are located on 14 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Location, Location, Location. 150 feet from McPherson Metro Station. Mall is two stops away. Excellent breakfast cafe across the street, as well as 5 Guys and Jersey Mike's. Cheesecake Factory a block away. Excellent air conditioning. Downtown is extremely noisy since every two-bit government employee needs a police escort...bring earplugs.     At approximately 5:30 a.m., I encountered a clogged toilet in my room and contacted the front desk. I spoke with associate, who advised that someone would bring a plunger shortly. After waiting 5–10 minutes, I called again and was told they were on the way.After an additional 10–15 minutes with no response, I made several more calls to the front desk that went unanswered for an extended period. When I finally reached the associate again, I was informed that they were unable to locate a plunger and that I could instead use the restroom in the lobby.I explained this incident to the general manager who responded“I apologize again for the experience and appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can work on this moving forward.”The manager never took the time to speak to me about this and offer any compensation.Very weak customer service!     Story time! All I have to say is ANTHONY IS THE GOAT. I was staying at the Hilton for a job interview and was coming from a wedding and forgot to pack my phone charger. He saw me flustered and asked me what was going on and if there is anything to help. I talked about my nerves for the interview and just disorganized. Anthony gave me sage advice, he lent me his own personal phone charger so I didn't need to go to a CVS to pick one up. He told me to just keep on breathing and be my self. He said he would pray for me... next morning I got the job offer. Hilton he's a shining example of hospitality and kindness.     Wow, you can’t beat the price & the location! Anthony at reception was so kind & the 3 valets~ Henok, Selemun, & Abie were so sweet & attentive! Abie even tried to fix a scratch that had been on my car for years. I will absolutely be back to this hotel. It was so clean, the price was amazing and the room blew me away. It had a mini fridge, microwave, & a coffee station. It was large with a nice seating area & a huge desk. The location could not have been better, I think three blocks from the White House, & all the museums and monuments were all within walking distance. I definitely parked my car and did not need it until I left. There are tons of places to eat around and there is also public transportation across the street. Honestly you couldn’t ask for anything more. TIPS: most museums are free. I highly suggest this Smithsonian natural history museum, & the national art gallery museum if you like Monet & Van Gogh! Also, don’t speed in DC~cameras all over and get you for 1 over.
