    Non smoker...charged a $250 smoking fee

    I checked in by myself 5/17/26 and noticed the room had been smoked in previously. The smell was not real strong, so I didn't bother to notify the front desk (big mistake). Upon checking out, I was charged a $250 fee for smoking.....I DO NOT smoke. How is it that "IF" the room was cleaned prior to me checking in, this was not noted??? I see several reviews on here mentioning the rooms are smoked in.

    Very old building, their staff do not speak english very well, it was difficult to understand them and they couldn't understand what I was requesting either. Ac did not work upon arrival. They said they will send their engineer to check it but it was not an actual engineer instead they send their security guard. There was a loud noise coming from the bathroom wall, their engineer came in and did not fix anything and I said that whenever the room next to me takes a shower that noise will be there. Will never stay their again

    Wonderful hotel. Good restaurant. I left my wallet at the bar after dinner. Later an employee, Tae, tracked me down and brought it to my room. I hadn’t even missed it.
