    Mixed feelings

    rating24 Jan 2026

The location of the venue is superb it holds a commanding position overlooking their private beach. The entrance lobby is worthy of it’s 4 star rating. The atmosphere when we arrived for our break was quite quiet. The desk staff are as usual in Vietnam welcoming and pleasant however to our very own detriment their grasp and understanding of English is a little poor. Rooms are pleasant bed very comfortable, aircon is assisted by the two inch gap in the fitted bifold doors! (Room 318)Outside the whole place; furniture included , needs a revamp. Gardens are groomed very well each day. The glazed perimeter has been totally destroyed by the incoming and rising tide(s) Breakfast is varied and matching its status, evening meal was of good quality albeit very mixed in its timings / arrival to our table. Prices for drinks and meals are also matching its advertised status (4*). We made the right choice!

    rating06 Jan 2026

It’s a nice hotel, the room was beautiful, we asked for a nice view and did we get one!Bathroom was huge, really well stocked, no problems there!Breakfast was fine, the second day there were lots of people there for a wedding, so it was just a tad hectic but all good. When we checked in, we were told by not one but two separate members of staff that we couldn’t smoke in our rooms and we couldn’t take food in our rooms. So I’m guessing they have problems with people smoking in their rooms but no worries with us as we are both on smokers. We ordered a Grab into Vung Tau, to eat in the evening, we didn’t eat at the hotel, for no other reason then we had a couple of restaurants that friends recommended. The boss was really impressed with the sound of the waves hitting the seawall below our room, it really was a treat. I felt I joined Jack Sparrow’s crew and I have no problem drifting off to sleep at night. All in all an excellent stay at a really nice resort, it is quite easy to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area! A Great Getaway

    rating20 Dec 2025

It was my first time to the resort and definitely will not be the last time I am staying at this property. I look forward to returning the next time I visit Vung Tau. The hotel staff are hospitable and friendly. Upon checking-in, I was greeted by Thien at the front desk. He shared with me the weather conditions during the period of my stay and provided recommendations as to what I should and shouldn’t do. He also provided a good orientation of where the hotel’s property is located so that I got better bearings. The room I got had a balcony facing the private beach and the ocean. The room is well furnished and spacious. Its ambience made me relaxed and happy. The bathroom and toilet are in separate compartments. The King bed is really comfortable. The hotel hires several lifeguards and they rotate in manning the swimming pool and private beach. The lifeguards are friendly and they would chat with guests who visit the private beach. Breakfast is served at the restaurant near the pool. Breakfast spread is generous. A special shout out to Son (staff in-charge of the noodles and eggs station), Nhu and Hai (wait staff). Son is a hardworking and diligent young man who has great aspirations. I hope the hotel’s management takes him seriously and groom him well. He is able to handle conversations in English with me and I have had little problems understanding him. Nhu is another staff of the hotel who has made my stay very comfortable. She is also able to converse with me in English. Remembering that I am an Accor Member, she brings me my fresh orange juice without me having to ask for it. Star quality for remembering guests and extending the appropriate services. Hai absolutely makes my mornings awesome. As she helps to setup the outdoor furnitures, she never fails to greet me with that brilliant smile of hers. Although she is unable to manage conversations in English, it isn’t difficult in making out what she is trying to say. Absolutely a delight. I feel the hotel has got the right combinations of a great location, rooms which are spacious, clean and well-maintained, good breakfast, and most importantly great people. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone who visits Vung Tau, great for families, friends and couples. It also makes a good location to host a wedding. Stayed 5 very relaxed days - never left the hotel!

    rating19 Dec 2025

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in an oceanside (the hotel grounds are separated by the main coastal road) sea view twin room with balcony and were very well taken care of by the F&B staff including the very friendly and engaging F&B Management. Many smiles received (and hopefully given) from (and to) them as well as the always present pool attendants and the lovely Reception ladies.Great infinity pool and small but well equiped fitness room with view over pool & ocean (note: ensure that airco is set to sufficiently cool a couple of hours before daytime/evening use as sun streams in much of the day through floor to ceiling windows). Spent hours one day in the pool watching locals fishing with nets and canoe off the rocks immediately in front of the hotel.Excellent restaurant menu with good European/Local dishes balance and enjoyed superb meals with excellent creative yet complimentary ingredient choices that were worthy of a top end restaurant but priced very favourably especially given the then 50% food discount we enjoyed as Accor Plus members (refer below). In fact, despite being reasonably central we never bothered eating elsewhere which is unusual for us when staying at a property with no Club Lounge evening canape offering.Thoroughly enjoyed the mid afternoon 2-for-1 cocktails.Enjoyed a massage at Sol Spa where seperate payment is required as it is not operated by the hotel so no room charge back is available. The hotel has a small private beach but its suitability for use depends very much on the tides and weather, as does the availability of its seawater pool which sits below the freshwater infinity pool referred to above). In our 5 day of low season stay we managed to make use of the beach and seawater pool once. The grounds are generally well maintained but this is Vung Tau (sometimes stormy rough seas and an oil industry off shore) so you need to look past the plastics washed up on the rocks and sand and the hotel has a mighty task maintaining the glass balustrades along its seaside boundary which obviously are regularly pounded by the surf and were in some state of disrepair when we stayed although we didn’t feel this presented a safety issue. We received a very warm welcome but more memorable was the warm send off we were given with some staff interrupting their tasks to come to Reception to wish us farewell and treat us to some cold refreshments (including takeaway!) prior to our 2.5 hrs commuter ferry trip back to Saigon (Greenlines Ferry terminal is 5 minute taxi ride along the coast from hotel). We hope to return soon - maybe we will even set foot outside the hotel 😉 !Note: We were Accor Live Limitless Accor+ (now Accor+ Explorer) Platinum members at the time of our stay and received a complimentary room upgrade, Welcome Drinks, barrista breakfast coffees, and Welcome Gift. Food discount benefit of 50% reduced to 30% in Oct 2025 but would still happily pay prices minus 30% for the menu as we experienced it. Beautifully located hotel, warm welcome and great team

    rating07 Dec 2025

We had an 8 day stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome was good, and the staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. We opted for a deluxe sea view room, for the views and it was very well equipped with a super bathroom and large walk in shower, large and comfortable bed, balcony with comfy outdoor furniture and a few helpful extras like a torch, umbrellas, daily water refreshed. To go to sleep at night hearing the sound of the sea was quite special. Outside the pool area, had several sun beds and good shade, dining on the terrace was available from breakfast to dinner and the hotel’s all day dining menu offered a very good range of quality food. Overall a very good and relaxing experience.
