    Average, needs updating

We stayed in Sen viet spa and resort for a week. After backpacking over a year we needed place to relax. Room was clean, and it was cleaned every day. Unfortunately the staff barely speaks english, so some things is hard to get through. One day i asked towel and in the end there was three people on it. We stayed in a room 29, which is in the middle of rooms, and where you can hear everything around as the walls are paper. In the room 30 is staying some locals whos alarm wakes you up everyday 6am on your holiday. Overall i would say ok budget place to stay, but be ready for these suprises. Breakfast very basic, and coffee is super sweet.

    Nice price, nice resort.

This is a budget resort but has all that you need. A fair size pool, kept clean. Bedrooms are of an ok size but they are not soundproofed, you can hear people in adjoining bedrooms. There is wi fi in all rooms, the toiletries are good, there is plenty of hot water and they provide tea/coffee and a kettle in the rooms. The airport shuttle only runs between 6am and 10pm so outside those hours you need a taxi. From the airport this is a bit of a rip off but do not pay more than 350.000 dong. Returning to the airport will cost 200.000 dong. A good breakfast is provided. Other meals are a bit limited but get to the road leading to Long Beach and there are plenty of eating places, also a large supermarket and other shops. A shuttle bus will take you to the beach and pick you up for the return.A spa is on site and an hours massage will cost 300.000 dong. Other treatments are available.Staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is kept clean.

Stayed at Sen Viet for 5 nights. Not bad place. Staff need to up their game, very miserable.Breakfast is poor, the chef at breakfast pre cooks the fried eggs & omelette’s & you get the cold stare if you ask her to make you a fresh one instead of reheating an already made one.Rooms are nice, quirky outside bathrooms is quite an experience. You do need a motorbike to get about, resort is on a busy main road, there’s not a lot on the door step.Would I recommend? Probably not. There’s nicer places for the money.

2018 service completely different from comments!

    rating17 Nov 2018

Spent 4 days. Cleaning ladies only made beds and put new towels. On the arrival, floor was dirty and spider webs on the walls and it kept always like that. They took my personal hygiene products on the trash. Last day when they were cleaning I heard a sudden scream on my room. On the night there were bugs on my room and a rat at the bathroom whose remove all trash from the container. Try to call the reception (room phone not working). The woman just stared at need saying there were no cleaning ladies at that hour. She just smile without trying to get a solution. It was me that had to tell her to find a way to clean the room because were 4 days like that and now bugs. Even so they just spread the dirty...Next day, since I was the only costumer, they did not bother to fill the breakfast table. Even decline me scrambled eggs.At the begin they were nice but by the end a completely rudes. I ask them to know why cleaning ladies were screaming at my room and did not clean it. Even after leaving I said them to send me an email. I try to contact them and they did not answer. Still wanting. This shows how much they care about their service. Forget about free transportation like comments say in check in and check outLocation is terrible away from everything. They will advice you to Ong Lang Beach... the worst ever been (and I never been outside Europe!). If you have other places to visit in Vietnam, don’t bother to come to Phu Quoc. People are not nice in general.

    Disappointing Masseurs attitude....

    rating14 Sept 2018

I'm reviewing only the SPA, not the resort where I've haven't been to.I've been in Sen Viet few times, sometimes I had a good massage, sometimes just ok but recently, 3 times in a row, I've been very disappointed for the service: the lady, during the massage, keeps on texting with the mobile phone. The last time I've been there, the phone fell on my leg.....I didn't go anymore.
