Location

The hotel is located in a 20,000 m² area on the banks of the romantic Huong River in the centre of Hue City. From the hotel, it is very easy to reach all the tourist attractions in Hue City, which is acclaimed as a World Heritage site.

    I stayed here for two nights.The hotel was nice, clean, with furniture in good condition. There is a swimming pool, but I didn't use it.The staff was friendly and helpful, through them I arranged my private transfer to the airport on departure.The room was large, very clean. The bed was large and comfortable.In the room you have a safe, a small fridge, a kettle, water (not in sealed bottles, it seems from the tap/osmosis, something like that), a fairly large TV (I didn't use it).The air conditioning worked well, as did the Wi-Fi.The bathroom was large, very clean, you had a bathtub. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low.Lots of restaurants, bars and clubs nearby.One of the few places in Vietnam where I wasn't charged a fee for paying with a card.

    Hotel is very dated but clean. We stayed here for 2 days. We were in room 503 to start. The noise from the nightclub close to the hotel was unbearable. The bass was extremely loud and went on till 12pm. This isn’t the fault of the hotel so just making people aware. We asked for rooms at the other side of the hotel. We were moved and could not hear the noise from the nightclub. After having a late night we were looking forward to a good nights sleep. We were then woken up to staff shouting very loudly in the corridor at 7.30am and then banging started.     Good views, good location, friendly staff, rooms clean, sadly a bit dated now.

    This is a good hotel to stay at with regard to the view of the river, the staff are nice and very helpful. They even moved our room when they realised we wanted a relaxing time and our floor had quite a number of very loud guests.The breakfast room is big with high ceilings, lots of food although I wish it had more fruit like other Vietnamese hotels. The only issue we found was it was soooo loud in the breakfast room it made it very difficult to relax. It may have been due to the guests that were there at the time as they were just shouting across the tables at each other. We tried to go at different times of the morning but it did not make much difference. We sat outside on the balcony to get away from the noise (lovely view there) but unfortunately then had to deal with smokers and people watching videos on their mobile phones loudly or FaceTiming people loudly (again that was the guests not hotel). The pool can get quite busy in the afternoon and there may not be enough loungers to sit on but more chairs are provided. This is an old hotel and sadly looking quite dated now, needs a bit of a face lift. We found it funny that the elevators don’t work in sync with each other like most places. The location is very good, pool is nice and again the view really sells it. Don’t discount this hotel as you get good value for money. I probably would not stay there again but that it personal preference. It’s fine for a few nights stay in Hue.     Do not stay here if you value a good night’s sleep!

    Comfortable beds and lovely to have a bath rather than a shower. Fantastic location overlooking the river. Swimming pool maintenance excellent. Those are the pros. The cons, listed below, outweigh the pros unfortunately in my opinion.EXTREMELY NOISY HOTEL. The walls of the rooms are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on outside the room. Kids running up and down the corridors screaming and shouting, guests conversations (no-one seems to respect that people might be trying to sleep!). Tea and coffee making facilities in the room but no milk, creamer etc. On asking reception if I could have a little milk for my tea, the lady on the desk said there would be milk available in the morning at breakfast. It was around 7pm and I wanted a cuppa then and there after a long day of travelling! Guess what? they wanted 20K VND for a little glass of milk! I have never been asked to pay for milk at any hotel previously! Ridiculous!!!!The bathroom has a particularly strong drain smell and is need of updating. Actually at the back of the hotel, you can see that maintenance is required with paint peeling off certain areas and generally looking tired.
