Last basic hotel on the highway from Durrës centre

We stayed at the hotel during 2 different nights, a forth night apart. Easy to find, and the best feature is the free car parking. During the first night we had a quiet room, probably renovated, with a fridge but no coffee facilities. Relatively simple breakfast. Very friendly and helpful personal. During our second stay we had a non renovated room, along the street. Street noise until late in the night. In the middle of the night we ran out of toilet paper. In the morning we asked for it, and after quite a while a pack of paper napkins was brought… The location along the road is its best but also worst feature because of the infernal road traffic. All in all, the ratio quality/price is not that good.

Excellent hotel, very close to the sea,bars and restaurants. I stayed in a room with Seaview, excellent room, but noisy at night,with cars racing and dogs barking. The staff at the hotel made it very good, especially the girls who served the breakfasts, always having a laugh. Overall a great stay there.

The Perfect Family-Run Escape in Durres

Staying here felt like visiting your favourite aunt and uncle, where you’re welcomed with open arms and treated like family. From the moment we arrived, we were invited into the cosy lounge, served tea, coffee, and two lovely slices of cake. We even got a little history about the hotel’s deep family roots, going back to the 1930s. After that, we were shown to our spacious room, where the comfy beds, air conditioning, and a hot shower washed away the exhaustion of our 15-hour journey.Though the hotel is just off the main tourist boulevard, it’s wonderfully quiet, and after a fantastic night’s sleep, we woke up to an amazing breakfast spread that kept us going every day of our stay.This level of care and warmth continued for all 4 days, and there’s simply no point looking anywhere else when we return to Durres.A special thanks to the university student at reception (apologies for missing your name), who worked the 12-8pm shift. Your local tips were spot-on, and having a cold beer waiting for us when we got back from our adventures was always a treat!

Perhaps the best breakfast ever

Perfect location, not far from the beach (unless you prefer the city center). We were warmly welcomed, with orange juice and orange cake. Oh, the flowers! The young lady at the reception was really helpful, and did recommend some nearby restaurants, of which we chose one (not a bad decision). We hadn´t been to Albania before, so did not quite know what to expect, and spent only one night there. But, based on that brief encounter with the hotel, the city of Durres and its people - well, I sure could go again.And did I mention the breakfast?!
