    The Palace Hotel really was! 4 friends, 2 rooms. Comfy beds.Brilliant shower. Massive connecting balcony. Beautiful friendly staff. Had great fun with them. Excellent food in restaurant and fantastic Albanian wine!🍷🍷. Cleaning Ladies never stopped cleaning. The spa and pool area spotless and had everything. Beach across the street. Ouside pool area gorgeous.I would love to go back. Would definately recommend it. Only fault was eggs/bacon and hot food was not hot. That still would not stop me going back!

    Pros: the rooms were amazing and comfy and top rated. Brewkfast was marvelous and delicious. Fron side by the beach amazing. Cons: spa terrible we got eye iches the water was so chemical, pool is for kids but hotel has limitted time which I do not like it as my priority is my kids. Also the floor in the pool is very dangerous be careful.

    Worst MassageTravelling with four friends… booked massages on the day… they were the worst massages we have ever had in our lives.1. We booked them… had to wait 45 minutes to book them, as reception could not do this.2. Met the most grumpiest receptionist who made the bookings.3. We were unfortunate enough that the receptionist was the masseur…. Fastest… most unfriendly and unprofessional massage I/we have ever had… and we are all aged 55/60

    Beautiful hotel on the durres beachfront

    This is a beautiful hotel on the beachfront. Having scouted the area across the week I have been in Durres, it also appears to the nicest / most luxurious on the main strip and closer to the town centre. The rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. I had a huge super king bed and walk-in shower in my garden annex room. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has a private beach area where there is service from the beach bar to your sunbeds. The hotel has two pools - an outdoor one with the usual tables / sunbeds around it and an indoor spa area which is also lovely. There is also a jacuzzi, showers, sauna and steam inside too along with a gym. Breakfast is of a good standard with lots of choice / variety and the hotel restaurant was also the nicest place I ate all week. Admittedly, the price of food and drink at this hotel is higher than other places I visited in Albania but only by €1-1.5 per drink.

    A lovely stay - waiting staff were very attentive and helpful, food was very good and could eat by the pool or in the restaurant. Would recommend if looking for somewhere to stay in Durres
