When we first arrived at this hotel I was pleasantly surprised with how lovely the hotel was due to the reviews I’d read previously, the pool was great and our room was lovely, however, the staff weren’t friendly what so ever. Not all of them, but majority. On the first day we ordered a couple of bottles of prosseco whilst we sat around the pool, and because this isn’t an all inclusive hotel the easiest option was to charge everything to the room. Which we done a lot of the time. One of the waiters who served us towards the end of the day, made a huge effort with pouring our drinks and getting us in holiday spirit, which quickly changed when he realised there was no tip at the end, we told him 3 times that we didn’t want the fuss because we didn’t have cash for a tip. He ignored us and continued. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and for the rest of our stay this waiter made us feel so uncomfortable, he completely ignored us in the evening when he was serving which made it very difficult for us to get a drink, constantly giving us dirty looks. He didn’t even make eye contact with us. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were later explained that being tipped in Albania is a huge deal and considered rude if not, which we were completely unaware of however after finding that information out we tipped everytime! I still do not appreciate how this waiter made us feel in the short time we were there. Very unprofessional and very disappointing.

Not refunded after being downgraded to standard room from junior suite.

Booked and paid for a “luxury” junior suite to find the 2 TVs in the room, one was not working and other had no English speaking channel. Worse still the back court , 5 th floor room where lift was just to 4th floor had the room telephone NOT working. Was downgraded by being moved to a standard room with them promising to refund me as I paid for a suite. They never refunded though I have been texting almost daily. It’s 3 weeks since getting back to the uk. I will not be going back there. Not a good birthday experience

Excellent location. Excellent breakfast. Beds super comfy and perfect shower. We paid a £400 upgrade to get sea view balcony room, there for 3 days only so upgrade expensive- gutted to then be woke every morning at 7.15 with restaurant staff dragging chairs in restaurant above us! Such a shame as rest was spot on!

Wonderfull high end hotel in a not so high end neighbourhood

Great hotel on a beach stretch where most other hotels are of lower standard. Great breakfast buffet (some guests thought that "all you can eat" means "all you can carry" and brought hidden plastic bags to carry tons of food out for their lunch or dinner or both - disgusting habit). Great view of the sea from both the window and the balcony. Good atmosfphere, nice and efficient room cleaning, good overall.On the negative side: There was music whereever you went and whenever you were there (except 11 pm to 8 am). Not much place for a bit of silence or hearing birds, waves on the beach or the sea brease. This was mostly annoying, execpt when this was on purpose (like a wedding party that we saw, or an evening with discjockey and great music
