Our first Albania holiday

We stayed for a week at this hotel, our first holiday in Albania and based on this experience definitely not our last!The hotel facilities were great, pay the small extra for the sea view room, you will be grateful for it with every sunset. The room facilities were excellent, comfy massive bed with a good mattress, we slept well all week! Bathroom had new shower fittings and a bidet, hairdryer, bottled toiletries, fresh towels every day. Bottled water delivered every day as part of the housekeeping. The wellness facilities are good too and the massage was great!Food and drinks were very good. There was plenty of different rooms to eat in the restaurant area which were all very well attended by the staff. Always plenty of fresh fruit and salad and a good choice of "staple food" like a choice of beef, fish, chicken etc but also something new every day so it wasn't boring.We loved the staff, they really couldn't do any more for us. So attentive, so friendly and professional. Big shout to Sergio and Mahmud (I hope I spelled his name right, he's the one with the big smile) for being superstars but everyone was brilliant. Thank you all. ??The location of the hotel is around 40 Euros taxi money from the Tirana airport and is on a beach strip full of bars and restaurants so if you fancy a change of scenery from the hotel it's right there and not expensive (and relaxed, not mental). No forced entertainment at the hotel apart from music in the evening so that was nice for us too. We loved this place.

We came from Liverpool for our first visit to Albania, and naturally we were a little stressed about travelling somewhere new. From the very beginning, Marcella at reception made everything so easy for us, arranging a safe and comfortable airport transfer.When we arrived at the hotel, we received such a warm welcome. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, right in front of the beach, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.The food was absolutely incredible! A huge thank you to Executive Chef Erdogan Sultanlar and his amazing kitchen team. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour and prepared with excellent local ingredients and fresh fruits. You can really see the passion and professionalism in their work. Breakfast fresh omelet, grilled chicken and steak, kuzu tandir, fresh pizzas ?? ???? My children especially loved the desserts! I also highly recommend trying the seafood — it was excellent.The customer service throughout our stay was perfect. Marcella arranged all our trips and excursions and was always there to help us. The hotel even prepared lunch packages ?? for our days out, which was such a thoughtful touch. My daughter was so happy… We honestly cannot thank everyone enough for making our family holiday so special. A huge thank you to the reception, kitchen, bar and recreation teams for their hard work, kindness and hospitality. Chef Erdogan make airport borek form us .. even hostess at plane ?? try one piece they love it. A fabulous experience from beginning to end. We would absolutely recommend Golan Premium Hotel ….. Thank you for making our first visit to Albania so memorable. We will definitely back… Highly recommended

Lovely stay and staff

We stayed for a week on an all inclusive basis staying in an executive suite sea view room. From the very warm welcome from the staff we were made to feel welcome and relax right from the start of our break, room was spacious with incredible views, the guest relations staff couldn't do enough for us, special mention to sergio and his team who couldn't do enough for us. Food was plentiful on a buffet style basis but also an option to dine in the al a carte restaurant also based in the hotel, the spa was a nice escape from the outdoor pool. We loved our stay and would happily return to this lovely hotel again.

Beautiful hotel, very modern & stylish.Lovely, helpful staff, particularly Sergio.Sergio was fantastic, always on hand to ensure we were having a fabulous stay.Food was good, lots of variety.
