    An excellent boutique city-centre hotel

    rating01 Oct 2026

An excellent hotel near the centre of Tirana. Staff were always helpful, friendly and spoke excellent English. A good daily breakfast was provided, somewhat better than the bland continental breakfasts so often served. A comfortable, very large, bed made-up on a daily basis and a roomy ensuite shower-room, towels changed daily. All areas were clean and pleasantly quiet. We intend to come back next year

A great quiet location within walking distance of all the main attractions and eating areas. High quality fixtures and fittings in a modern conversion. The staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly Onassis. Breakfast was individually cooked to your requirements and the bar served light snacks during day and excellent coffee all day.NB there is no lift to the first flor bedrooms. Golden City, Owner at Golden City Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We're glad the quiet rooms, the breakfast cooked to order and the coffee at Volta Bar made your stay relaxing, and Onas will be delighted to read your words. Thank you for mentioning the stairs, our team is happy to help with luggage whenever you need it. We hope to welcome you back to Tirana soon.
