First of all, there is no way that this hotel should be classified as a four-star hotel! When you arrive, there is no place for the taxi to stop for even a minute to unload your bags before an officer is directing the car to leave. Then, there is a long staircase to drag your bags up, to get to the reception. Once in the room, it is not very clean, especially the bathroom and shower floor---very gross! But the worst part is that there is a nightclub directly under the hotel, and others nearby, with very loud music playing literally all night long, making it impossible to sleep! If you have come to Tirana for the purpose of partying all night long, then this is the place for you! If not, then stay away! Then, you need to be aware that the elevator shuts down between 11 pm and 8 am! So if you have an early morning departure, you will have to carry you luggage down the staircase, and then again down the outside stairs, in order to leave! There is also no one at the reception desk during those hours, so if you have any problems with your room during those times, there is no one to help you. None of this is made clear from the hotel description! The only positive about this hotel is its location close to the center of town, but I'm sure that there are other central hotels without all of these other problems!

Good value mid-range hotel at the heart of Tirana's most upmarket area

This is a small hotel right close to bars and restaurants of Tirana's upmarket Biloku neighbourhood. It is a pretty decent place for a base in the Albanian capital. My room was really nice and had clearly been recently refurbished. There is a lot of building going on in the area....including on an adjacent lot ....but this was not a problem when I was there. Breakfast was decent too. Staff were helpful.

Very appealing hotel, good location in Blloku. The staff is very helpful and professional. You will not find a better hotel person than Elio at the front desk;he is just the best!! The breakfast is good and the breakfast room is peaceful and inviting. Housekepping is top notch. They also have a new pizzera, very good food and reasonably priced. Hermes is highly recommended. Thank you for great stays, will return.

Great hotel in the heart of Tirana

I chose this hotel for a summer trip with my friends. It’s located right in the heart of the city in a very lively area that offers a lot of amenities and entertainment, while still being a quiet place to relax. The personnel was immediately welcoming and helpful, we were taken to the rooms and we were all surprised by how clean they were! It felt like we just stepped in a brand new room and it was a very nice, welcoming feeling.The rooms are nice and offer everything that is necessary, the bed was very comfy and there is even a TV although there is so much to see that we didn’t use it.Breakfast was nice and varied, with lots of different types of food to choose from. We also had a very good coffee which is always a plus ;) I would also recommend a visit to the nice restaurant! Would definitely stay there again

I’m not sure why this place is getting such good reviews. We just stayed here two nights. Yes. It is very clean, but this first room we stayed in was so small, we had to take the chair out so we could fit. Fortunately, they moved us to a larger room, but the heater never worked. They looked at it once, decided it was fixed and never came back when we called that it was still broken. Also the breakfast was the worst! Soft-boiled eggs in shells, croissants, bacon and sliced hot dogs that we suspect had been put out for days, a bit of cheese, and cake and that’s about it. Coffee was good, though, and Shazi the housekeeper was cheerful and friendly, as was Lanti the waiter. Good coffee. So, if you do decide to stay here, make sure you get a larger room and go to breakfast next door!
