    Close to airport and car hire, forget gym and pool. Below average breakfast

    The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of Tirana Airport. If you walk through the main entrance and across the car park, the hotel is directly opposite and clearly visible. However, there is a road barrier that prevents you from crossing directly upon arrival, which can be slightly inconvenient.The concierge desk is positioned right by the entrance, making check-in straightforward. I stayed in Room 109, which can be accessed via stairs or lift. The room overlooked the pool and, although intended for single occupancy, it was a reasonable size. It featured wooden floors and USB charging ports for both newer and older devices.The bathroom was quite minimal but clean. Some of the finishing touches, particularly the grouting, were not done to a high standard. The shower area was basic, with a sliding door, but the overall bathroom size was fairly generous. A highlight was the spacious terrace overlooking the pool.The gym facilities were disappointing and effectively unusable. The location of the gym was inconvenient, and the equipment was very limited and poorly maintained, making it unsuitable for a proper workout.Breakfast is served on the ground floor facing the pool, with a pleasant terrace that gets morning sunlight. There are two breakfast options: an early, simpler one from 3:30–7:30 am, and a more elaborate version from 7:30–10:30 am. However, even the main breakfast offering was quite basic. The selection included packaged cold cuts, a small variety of fruit, and average pastries. The croissant was acceptable, but the yogurt and strawberry jam were below par. The coffee was also disappointing.Service was lacking overall—staff were not particularly welcoming, and basic greetings were missing.That said, the hotel is very convenient for the airport and also within walking distance of car rental offices, just one street away.

    Good stay when you need to be close to the airport

    The hotel is upscale, and priced accordingly. Large rooms with large, well-appointed bathroom, fancy dining room and public spaces, friendly and helpful staff just a short walk to the airport. If you have a late arrival or early flight, this hotel makes a lot of sense to stay a night.The normal breakfast service starts at 7:30, so too late for flights departing before 10-10:30a. Too bad, as the buffet looked really good that was being set up as we left. An early bird cold breakfast buffet (croissants, cookies, fruit, yogurt, bread) is available at 3a; it’s basic but at least it’s there. Either way, the coffee is mediocre and not reflective of the hotel ambiance.

    I had a cancelled flight and they took excellent care of me. They picked me up and dropped me off, the room was very clean with a comfortable bed to rest, and the food was good. Despite checking in at 4 am housekeeping checked in on me around 1pm and asked if I needed anything cleaned. However it was the personalized touch to the service that really stood out to me. I will always stay here now the night before I leave Tirana: Truly the best hotel experience I’ve had ever.

    Very nice and spacious room, even with espresso coffee machine and balcony. Downstairs there are dining room which breakfast is included. But you could also order lunch or dinner. Very tasty too. The reception desk man is very gentle and arrange the car to send me to the airport.

    I was not sure what to expect but I was so pleasantly surprised. Usually hotels by airports are pretty worn and not very spotless. Airport Hotel Tirana was excellent. So modern and clean with all the amenities one could hope for at a resort. The rooms are pristine and the noise is minimal. They have a wonderful shuttle that takes you to and from the airport just 5 mins away. They have a scale to weigh your bags, tons of different adapters for plugs. Great food! They even have a spa and a pool. The bathrooms are phenomenal and the bed is one of the best I’ve ever slept in. I highly recommend this hotel on your way in and out of Durres or Tirana. Maybe not longer term only because I wouldn’t say it’s walkable - mostly just airport nearby. It’s a great place to park for a few days while you decide what area you would like to choose longer term. It’s right between Tirana town center and Durres and it’s so safe and comfortable. Most of Durres and Tirana is though. Amazing country, great cities and this hotel is top notch. 100% will return.
