Better places in Tirana….

This hotel feels like a remnant from the communist era. Service is non existent, rooms are shabby and neither the AC or WiFi worked. Staff could not have cared less. The location on a busy, dusty street, at least 20 min. from the centre doesn’t help.

Has not moved past communist era! Nothing worked in our room- wifi, air conditioner. The room itself was drab, dusty.

It felt like we were in a time warp, trapped in the communist era. The staff at reception was not helpful dealing with issues in our room. Decor and cleanliness were way below standard. Noisy traffic and inconvenient location from downtown. This place is in desperate need of renovation

Doro City hotel is an old fashioned hotel with few amenities. We were a group staying at the hotel. We spent little time actually in the hotel so it was ok. One tiny elevator serving all the guests.I would have preferred a hotel with a kettle and waste basket in the room.Also shower gel in the bathroom.

Nice hotel, beds were comfortable. And thats what matters most, because we only stayed for one night. Not really a modern hotel, but with good free wifi. Helpfull and friendly personnel. Breakfast was fine. Car could be parked af the parking lot, at five euro.

Hotel was not clean. The bedding had holes. Dust and grime was everywhere. Safety point wire exposed on hairdryer in bathroom. Staff was unhelpful. At reception the young lady asked me if I know how to use a phone. When her colleague came to check he confirmed that the phone was not working. So rude.
