The Hotel is in a very good location and the staff is extremly nice and proffessional. Rooms are big and pillows were good. Except these things, unfortunatelly the rest, is far below the level of a 5 star hotel.Half of the building is under construction. The parking is not finished and is connected to the hotel by a path that is under construction. On my first day the parking ramp didn't work and i waited 15 min to get out. The sight from my window was a unclean and unfinished space. More over, on one wall of the room there were curtains ans behind them there was a glass which separated my room from a space which is under constructition, again. How weird is this. Check the photos. The furniture is old and damaged, the floor and carpet are not clean, there is mold in the shower. Needed to wait 10minutes (i am not exadurating) with all taps on, for the hot water to start comming out from the tap. The kattle for hot wather is on a plastic tray and there is no plug near by to plug it in. Brekfast was very poor and simple, nothing changed durring the 4 days i was there. Mak Albania, for 175euro per night and 5 stars this is simply NOT acceptable. You need only to visit 5 stars hotel and you will see the difference.Definitly, not comming back.

Bedbugs in the rooms!

Very disappointing experience. During stay of our group, multiple guests reported bed bugs, and we provided the hotel management with photos and other evidence. (Photos and evidence) attached here also)Despite being shown the evidence, management repeatedly denied that there was any problem and took no meaningful action to resolve the situation. Instead of addressing our concerns, they continued to insist that the hotel did not have bed bugs.What makes this even more disappointing is that this is advertised as a 5-star hotel, yet the service and handling of a serious hygiene issue were far below what one would expect from a property of this category. A true 5-star hotel should take guest concerns seriously and act promptly to investigate and resolve them.We found the management’s response unprofessional and concerning, especially given the seriousness of the issue. Future guests should be aware before settling in.

This hotel is conveniently located in the Albanian capital, within walking distance of a large and beautiful park on one side and a lively restaurant street on the other. The property is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.The hotel likely meets the formal criteria for a five-star classification, although I did not verify this personally. However, in terms of overall quality and guest comfort, there is significant room for improvement. For example, there was only one power outlet in the room. The bathroom had no shelves or storage space for personal items, and there were no amenities provided.The furnishings and equipment felt mismatched, as if they had been repurposed for rooms that were originally designed for something else. Additionally, construction work was ongoing during my stay, which made it quite noisy. Since this was the off-season, this may be understandable, but it still affected the overall experience.

There is a lot of construction and noise. The parking deck is under construction and the attendant was not clear. It was poorly lit and after a three hour drive to Tirana it sent my partner who was driving into panic attack. We were upgraded and given breakfast in the morning by the staff who were wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. I would not rate it a 5 star hotel given the current state of the hotel.
