    I ended up staying at Rogner Hotel Tirana for just 10 hours, from around 8pm to 6am, after my tour operator unexpectedly changed the date of my Valbona–Theth hike and left me stranded without accommodation.Despite the short stay, I was very impressed with the hotel. The property looks recently renovated, with stylish, modern interiors and plenty of attention to detail. The room was absolutely massive, with a very comfortable bed, and the bathroom had premium touch-button controls in the shower — a nice upscale touch.The hotel was reportedly previously government-owned and is now privately owned, and the renovation seems to have given it a much more contemporary feel.At around €190 for a night, it is certainly on the pricey side, particularly for Tirana, but if you're looking for an upscale hotel with spacious rooms and modern facilities, I think it's worth considering. The location is slightly away from the main central areas, which may be a consideration depending on what you want to do in Tirana.Unfortunately, my stay was so short that I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that.Overall, it turned what could have been a stressful overnight situation into a very comfortable one. I'd happily stay here again for a longer visit.     All staff at the Rogner were very friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities at the hotel cannot be faulted. Breakfast was self service and was first class. The Rogner was close to all the tourist sites. Loads of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Would I recommend this hotel - a very big yes.     Five Star Hotel Experience

    This hotel came at the end of a wonderful holiday in Montenegro & North Albania. Most of our hotels were 3 star on our journey. So we were waiting to see what this last hotel was like. It is worth knowing that this hotel is situated just south of the very centre of Tirana and about a 15-20 min walk from the centre. (Skanderbeg Square) Located in a modern designed/upgraded suburb. But still close to all the sites. No queue on checking in,during the early evening. Polite & welcoming receptionist. The hotel has 5 star amenities with pool,sauna & nice gardens. The room was stunning. Spotlessly clean, massive and comfortable bed. Plenty of space for our suitcases. Cupboard space. And the bathroom & shower excellent. Would stay here again without a moments thought. There are lots of bars,cafes & restaurants in Tirana and plenty of modern/trendy ones just a few minutes walk from the hotel at the Air Stadium Complex/Marriott Hotel. Not even some big anti-government protests which took place right outside the hotel (and are a regular occurrence at present in Tirana) ruined it as they are non violent/well behaved and end by about 11pm!
